Well, thanks to this topic I actually gave Pokemon Masters Ex a try some days ago.

Apparently I joined at the tail-end of an event to recruit Jessie, the game pretty much gave me Flannery and Skyla in the main story, and there was a short-time deal where I got to pick out Hilda.

Not a bad start to my harem collection.

Just need Lorelei, Olivia, Cynthia, Lyra, Dawn, and Serena now. Game doesn't have Nessa or Juniper though, and I'm probably one of the few people who wants Bellis to be playable and not just an NPC.

It's more likely they don't find anyone their own age attractive, rather than the other way around.

Which isn't an unfair assessment on their part when you consider how many prickly single parents there are in the 30+ bracket, or how you're *more* likely to run into immature losers the older you go. So for some folks, its either date younger or give up dating at all because there's nothing worth chasing after a certain point.

That said, no, I don't find the age difference weird (regardless of the genders involved). Not everyone has the benefit of being super choosy, so throwing out entire legally viable age brackets seems like it just increases the odds that somebody end up with nobody.

Eh, I just found it woefully average. At least with other mobile games there's *some* kind of gimmick to act as a hook, but Raid has neither unique gameplay or even an interesting aesthetic to me. So it wasn't fun, and I couldn't even use waifu collecting as an excuse to stick with it.

Is there a downside to just spamming GFs every turn? Seems to be by far my strongest attack and since there isn't a magic point system, I can seemingly do it an infinite number of times, right? Help me understand.

I can think of one point in the game where over-reliance on GF can fuck you over. Like, to the point you will literally be stuck and might have to start the entire game over (and of course it happens super-late with no warning).

Without spoiling; There's a specific boss near the end of disc 3 where you *can't* hit a specific part of them, because killing it causes a game over. All GF hit all targets, and they all do enough damage to instant-kill said thing you're not supposed to kill.

Make absolutely sure you have some kind of single-target combat utility throughout the game, because you *will* be punished for thinking "GF = GG".
