Yeah, I worked at a Petco manager for a long time and the leather harnesses are quality, no plastic, it's cow hide and metal pieces, and we never had returns or refunds on them. The nylon and plastic ones are kind of made to be cheap and replaceable, so more people have to keep re-purchasing them when they break. Leather isn't all that expensive, maybe twice what you pay for nylon, but it's gonna last you for years. Just look for them for small dogs, and you will find a quality one for Walter. I'm sure Amazon has a good selection.

Look into a leather harness, it's gonna cost a bit more but the durability is much better. Same with a leather lead to go with it. He likely won't snap it and it will last you for years.

I probly have to look online for that. But good call.

All i ever found were canvas ones with plastic snaps akin to a typical backpack snap.

Its the plastic that he always breaks. Id love to get something i can be confident he wont break.

Im 99% sure he wouldnt take off even without a leash but thays excluding cars or owls.

I almost lost him once and if i ever do id never forgive myself especially if i was drunk as i al right now.
