Even if you're lucky enough to avoid illness and injury, affording monthly premiums on even an HDHP plan if you're one of many people who make $15 or less is just too much to the point that many simply go without health insurance and hope for the best. The housing crisis is just as bad and just as important, though I'm not sure how it compares to other countries. I feel like you're on a high horse and not for a particularly good reason. Many of the "most people" you speak of undoubtedly invest time into other areas of life instead and excel. You only have so much time and energy to dedicate and only to a very limited number of endeavors. Mastering Through the Fire and the Flames on Guitar Hero has to be much easier than on a real guitar, and even if it wasn't, it's much easier to find people willing to mess around on Guitar Hero for a bit than to find people who want to play in a band --- (...
