In all honesty, I find this vague and ambiguous way of writing to just be lazy as hell. I really don't want to shit on the game or anything since I'm well aware not everyone hated the ending like I did, and I'm sorry, but the 6th trial just left a foul taste in my mouth, even weeks later. It even made me look at the past games very differently, and... well, not in a good way. I absolutely loved the first three games (yes, even UDG, I really enjoyed that game despite how different it was) so it's just such a shame for the series to end in such a disappointing way, especially since the anime ~~had some excellent closure for the characters and the series as a whole, despite its issues. Not sure why they had to back and ruin all that in V3...~~

Let's just say I wasn't too pleased with how trial 4 ended up (not because it was bad, of course, though finally getting to the conclusion that ~~the world looped~~ was really predictable and took waaay too long), that was fucked up. ~~Poor Gonta... But goddamn I can't blame him for doing it, the world is actually completely fucked up now unlike the first time, huh?~~ Getting all the DR1 flashbacks was super cool too. I was really wondering how this game was connected to the rest, and there we go! Pretty convenient that specifically 16 students ended up being immune to the space virus though lol. About to start trial 5 now, I have basically 0 predictions for now, since pretty much everyone except Tsumugi went into the hangar?Though I assume both Kaito and Kokichi were killed, since neither of them are here, and Monokuma's just running of his AI...? Oh, and I assume Keebo might've been able to enter without the alarm sounding or anything like the Exisals since he's not recognized as human lol. Actually expected that to be the log-in error in case 4 and he'd be treated as "an object" but I was wrong like usual. I'm usually way too smooth-brained to make plausible predictions though >_>

Azardea 03/14/21 1:09:09 PM #440	Right! I'm loving it. Most of the new trial elements/changes are excellent, especially the Debate Scrums. Mind Mine is a bit whatever, but it's fine. I feel like the OST is a bit weaker than the one in 2, but still great. Loving the cast, as usual. Gonta, Maki and Kokichi (~~"It's a lie!"~~ was just... holy shit. >_>) are probably my favorites at the moment. I really like Kaito as well, which is surprising since I usually dislike the idiots. Really wonder what his deal is gonna be since ~~he's apparently dying...~~ Case 3 was probably one of the weakest in the series so far, didn't much care for it... Can't judge the game too much yet though, since I'm just halfway. But yeah, loving it.

I never expected to like Chiaki as much as I did (probably my #1), hence ~~"FUCK case 5 even if it's not actually badly written" >_>~~ A lot of questions are answered in 3, as in the anime. Like who Sato is, how they became ~~Ultimate Despair~~, etc. And yeah, I feel like the point of ~~Impostor~~ was basically to make you go "What the fuck is going on?" He does get some more depth in his FTE and 3 though.

Azardea 02/07/21 3:21:51 PM #2	Most if not all of them have a different Fire Emblem. The Shield in FE 1-3 and their remakes and Awakening, Bern's royal crest or whatever in 6-7, the Omega Yato in Fates, etc. Crest of Flames is the Fire Emblem in TH.

If you eat the mushrooms (discovering they really do recharge your batteries) and call back, Snake will say so, and you will hear Paramedic, Zero, and Sigint crowding around Paramedic's desk and whispering about whether Snake is mentally compromised and may need to abort the mission. I had no idea that was a thing, that's amazing. God I love MGS.
