My fourth grade teacher did this when she got mad, and she got mad a lot (though to be fair, my class didn't exactly help, either). One day, she slammed the door so hard that it got stuck, and no one could open it so we were trapped inside. Luckily, that say was a half-day, and the school only had one story, so we all climbed out of the windows.

At least, that's my impression of it while watching through the series.

Justice League's opening featured all seven original members demonstrating their capabilities, done in the CG of the time, but it still got the point across, and also more-or-less portrayed them as equals.

JLU's is just a bunch of still 2D images of the heroes mixed in with footage of the episode it's playing on (so there could be some spoilers there), and now with much more of a focus on Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman.

They were supposed to occur last year, but due to the pandemic, they were postponed to this year, perhaps in the hopes that we would have gotten a handle on the situation.

But it looks like we will be dealing with COVID for most if not all of this year as well. And Japan has also declared a state-of-emergency due to the rising number of cases in their country.

Also, the anime's shown actual non-Pokemon birds and fish before. Who knows if that's canon with the actual games, though.

Like I said, that was very early on in the anime, and they have since moved on from showing real animals at all since there's far more Pokemon now to occupy their spots.

The anime and other non-game media nowadays tend to go out of their way to avoid any predator-prey relationships and the idea that Pokemon are used as food. I think they even avoid showing any meat products because there's the implication that it comes from somewhere, and real animals have been pushed out of the series as time went on (very early, real animals definitely existed alongside the Pokemon).

All in the name of keeping the series kid-friendly and inoffensive as possible.

Funnily enough, the main games not only have many mentions of predator-prey relationships between certain Pokemon, but Sword/Shield's Curry ingredients include many meat-based products.
