Hmm yes I see the problem. Just need to learn to drive, get a degree and meet someone special.

Ok so getting a degree can be tricky, not so much the other two.

First impressions are everything so they say...

FF7 had a simple battle system that people understood without much explaining with an explosive opening that just had you in the action straight away.

FF8 had a more complicated battle system that people didn't understand even after the whole first part of the game explaining it. It starts with you at school having some lessons. Very slow to get going.

Personally I like 8 more, imo it's far less tedious to play than 7 (first part excepted) and the story is good (ok it's a bit silly at times but that's not unique for an FF is it?). The drawing magic and using GFs criticisms are overstated or just wrong. The music is very strong too, felt a bit more refined in a way (I guess because the instrument samples were better?).

Overall I can see why people love 7 so much over 8, I think it has such a grand sense of scale, it felt epic. I'm not sure 8 conjures up that same feeling but it's still fantastic.

Does ios run faster and more smoothly? Yeah.. but that's not the only metric to consider.

There's always that misinterpreted 'fact' about chimps sharing 98% of their DNA with humans. Which makes it sound like if you changed 2% you'd end up with a human or vice versa. The reality is that whilst 98% can be found in human DNA, the human genome is vastly more complicated and that 98% is only a tiny part of the overall DNA of humans.

The American way seems counter intuitive until you want to do a spreadsheet. Then suddenly it all makes sense.

If these results don't finally convince you all that gfaqs is a lefty echo chamber then nothing will.

I feel the same though, this might be the last time tbh. I'm not even planning on getting a PS5 due to time and the fact I already have such a huge backlog to play.

With tail grabs just wait til the timer is at 20 seconds then try and get one. By the time you've got one you should be able to avoid people for a few seconds.

Saw like 8 episodes of firefly and it was alright.

Firefly was really good I thought but they definitely ripped off an anime called outlaw star. They can deny it all they want but the girl in the case is just too similar.

I've won twice, both finals were tail grab, which I know a lot of people dislike.

Good thing is that you're straight back into the action if you fail.

Just simple fun. They do need to keep adding games though which they have done... well one anyway.

Because there's lots of 'sh' sounds in Portuguese (the European variant). I think in most cases the final 's' is always a 'sh'. At the beginning of words 'x' is also 'sh'.

In Brazil it is more like in English.

I think really the issue is that the rental market needs greater regulation to better protect renters. On the flip side of this it'll then be hard to evict problem tenants for landlords. As always, a balance needs to be struck.

The major roadblock to regulation is that the US government doesn't like regulation generally.

I don't really get the whole vegan thing, seems extreme. I think I could have a go at vegetarian. Really the best thing everyone can do which is actually achievable imo is just to eat meat less - say twice a week. That would help a lot and I think your average person would happily do it.

From what I can remember it was a rushed mess. I didn't understand why some characters did the things they did.

The biggest thing for me personally (not just S8) was the whole undead army night king stuff. As it developed over the final few seasons I thought "where are they going with this?" and "what even is the night king's motivation here?". I honestly think the show would have been better off without it entirely. It was at its best in the early seasons with the political intrigue and "playing the game". It kinda got a bit lord of the ringsy as the undead angle developed but not in a good way. It just totally changed the show. It ended with that overlong battle finished by deus ex machina (I mean how else could it have finished at that point).

I imagine the books do a better job of the undead and the why they do what they do. But the show just didn't in my opinion. In a story where the line between who was good and bad was always blurred, the night king just comes along like "bwahaha I'm evil!" - it was just out of place a bit for me.

It is more addictive than its ever been that's true, I think because online multiplayer is so widespread - competition against real people is addicting. I've no doubt it does cause problems in some.

Generally speaking though time you enjoy wasting isn't wasted time.
