IIRC the whole plot of that movie was that the existence of the Nightmare on Elm Street films is canon, and Freddie starts attacking the actors in real life. So it probably would have made way more sense to have Carrie Fisher cameo as herself instead of some bit part mortician.

Yes, because there's no way they would have gotten away with anything more explicit than that back then. GTA constantly pushing the envelope is why they can show it to you now

It's easy to think this, but then you go back and play some of those old games and realize how far they've come. That's not to say old games aren't good, because a lot of them are, but even the good ones are frustrating for bad reasons and so few of them have any real depth to the gameplay. They have fewer bugs because there was a lot less programming, and the bugs that were there are still there and always will be.

Yeah, after the first heist mission in GTAV, I bought that Smoke on the Water property for 204k. It generates 9.3k a week. It takes five and a half damn hours for one week to pass. So 123.2 real time hours before it starts turning a profit.

I know it's a cheap little starter property, but wtf is that.

I think one of them takes something like 2 in-game years to break even. The only one I remember that outright makes a profit is the submarine dock, but once you make your money it's just done and not recurring in any way. So pointless

So I don't want to over hype the game or anything and this may sound hyperbolic, but by the time the game was over, I thought Arthur was the best character in video game history. Lot of that may be how I played him, but god damn.

I've been playing games for 30 years and I agree with you on that. Even this long after the hype train died down, and having played through twice, I think he's one of the best written videgame protags ever

Didn't read the article but its ridiculous airline policy and United should be shamed for this. Mask policies shouldnt apply to children under 5. Its just impossible to get a lot of young children to keep a mask on.
