I think it's what made his show the best and better than the snoozefest that is current talk shows.

He was anti talk show, anti media, anti hollywood, that's why it was awesome. It was the only place the counter culture could go late at night in the cable TV era.

And the general "know" if you listen to any comedian's podcast, is that Letterman was the most real and genuine talk show host during his run. And I'd imagine if he was giving a millionaire super model a hard time, they probably deserved it.

I just can't imagine having sympathy for pill popping millionaires that so obviously look down on "normal people", but I guess some people are culture consumers.

Mainstream media made a fool out of Trump. Mainstream media is owned by the elite (all major media is like 4 familes). So what does that say about Trump? OH BUT WAIT....Fox News....which has, historically, an extremely conservative bias...loved Trump.

What is even more sad and kinda ****ed up is the people that arent having children are the responsible ones that problem should, and all the people breeding are religious and young people being irresponsible.

I am one of the few people who hasn't played any of the games.

Although they are similar to other bioware games, there is still really nothing else like the Mass Effect trilogy.

The third game is a great 3rd person shooter wrapped in Bioware RPG storyline, but I actually enjoyed the combat in all three games quite a bit. In ME1/2/3 you have greater control over party member attacks and overall combat seems a bit more strategic. Gunplay is weakest in ME1 but the powers in ME1 feel more impactful.

The big draw is the world/story...a world that expands and chages over 3 games....in ME3 for example, you can return to many places that were in ME1. ME2's choices heavily influence how ME3 feels. It's just a super interesting universe with great lore, cool mysterious slowly unraveled thru the trilogy that keeps you invested, amazing DLC side stories that greatly enhance the overall story...often sad, surprising, hilarious at times...one of the few games were dialog never got boring to me and where it was easy to play long sessions.

The week it came out on PS3, my house in college lost heat for a week (furnace went out)and I made a fort with my chair, 32 inch flat screen (first one I ever owned) and a blanket over my entertainment unit to my chair. It was early March but very cold, like 20 degrees out. My PS3 phat acted as a little heater. I had two pairs of socks, long johns, sweats, cargo pants, 2 shirts, a hoodie and a jacket with a winter hat on and had my other blanket over me.

It was right at the start of Spring Break so I literally just played Mass Effect 2 on PS3 for like ten days straight. I ended up being hard for money and sold my PS3 and all my games. 8 years later I finally beat it with the PS3 compilation. One of the best games of all time, though is has a couple stupid mechanics, like the super frequent b/s easy puzzles (that are waaaaaaaaayy too easy and waste so much time...and mining (which was ok my first run, annoying my second and I think i'll try to skip altogether my third run)

I am SO excited for the ME trilogy if only to have a PC port that doesn't suck and with DLC that doesn't require a guide to buy.

I watch a lot of Japanese streamers and the like, and from what's being said they're considering extending travel blocks past the 31st and still have very heavy regional lockdowns. So, dunno where that news is coming from but it seems to clash with reports of people actually living there.

It depends on where you are, but Japan never had the same kind of lockdowns we did. It was mostly travel restrictions which are being lifted. And just like in America, there were a lot of people defying stay at home orders and lots of sidewalk restaurants never closed. Japan's death rate and infection rates are much lower despite these factors and density of their population...

Try an article that isn't from that time period where the cases had risen but the deaths hadn't caught up yet. Deaths have always lagged a few weeks behind cases. Likewise, cases will start to drop a few weeks before deaths do, too.

I just think the fact that some people are straight up denying potential good news or hope about the virus (death toll falling, infections dropping, survival rate much higher than we initially thought, we are getting better at treating it (no more respirators blowing out lungs) like if you bring any of that up, someone immediately rebuttals with some nihilistic headline tag and gamefaqs mods are on you...doesn't that seem strange? Should we not be looking for hope and real answers?

I mean, the American government and news media, we know what they are like. Japan and China are over it, in countries far more dense. Are we really to believe it's because rural Americans don't wear masks in Walmart? Whats going on here...?

Our local health department has reduced quarantine time from 14 days to 10 days due to an overwhelming majority of positive cases being symptom free within a week.

I would imagine that the worst part is knowing that you could potentially have long term lung damage.

Extremely rare and almost unheard of in mild cases.

Early on a lot of the lung damage reported on was caused because of doctors limited knowledge on the virus and they ended up blowing out people's lungs with respirators.
