The situation in a vacuum i believe to be self defense. My take on it is scour his social media if he came down there to help or kill. If it was too kill then it is murder.

Well she might live for several decades yet.
Then what? The only way my point doesn't stand if she somehow gets immortality in that time frame where she's dictator of the world. And since time is infinite there's literally no guarantee that she'll stay moral during her reign. Maybe she makes some type of hivemind device and we have a scenario where the hive (halo), the zerg (starcraft), or unity (rick and morty) tries to infect the whole universe under one rule because you can't be immoral or moral if you're all the same person. Well actually you can because self harm is inherently wrong. At this point we get into a discussion on what is the price of individualism.

Lets humor the idea that what she did was right in every way. What happens when she dies? Now this pillar of power is up for grabs and you can't guarantee that the next one to take the throne will be as morally good. Make it illegal? Laws can change. Xi Jinping even removed term limits in china as an example and I fear we're heading down the same road.

This has too much potential to be abused. After this law passes what's stopping them from making a certain groups harmless act a felony? Now the group being targeted can't even fight back legally and would be forced to protest which would lead to riots and paint them in even worse light. Or how about law enforcement lying because they are under orders to lie, suppressing a certain group to vote and having a bs felony charge on top of that. And when I say a certain group I don't just mean race. The powers have the means to know who you will vote for and can come after you with impunity and there will nothing you can do to change it at that point, forcing you to going to a great extreme, branding you and the group you're rallying terrorists, proving their point in the public eye. It's a lose/lose scenario for freedom.
