I almost gave my vote to 6 personally but I gave it to 8 instead. I do really like the concept of making the true final fight as difficult as you want and building the dungeon as a puzzle and battle challenge to unlock your other abilities for further bosses.

Edit: eh not as bad as og resident evil

OG RE at least had a strange sort of charm and the tone really feels right. Sort of like old Lunar voice acting, it was bad but it was amazing because the staff obviously had fun with it and came in with passion, especially Galeon's.

Chaos Wars just felt like 5 people doing the voices for 50 and failing horribly. Some of the casting choices had things like Xelos sounding like a 5 year old and most of it was near directionless.

Unfortunately sounds like dubious canon. Now I'll admit I'm not very well read on late game ff7 lore and what may exist in subtext and nuance there and am aware that emotion systems may put putting a real good pin in things so it's very liable.

Probably certainly puts Cloud in a easy second place in regard at least, which is why I said one of.

The condiment tube of consideration dried out ages ago as far as fast food was concerned. One too many demanding ungrateful drive through shoppers will do that. The icing bag of consideration seems to stay rather full though.

Now I don't recall ever recooking fries where I worked. Or doing any unfortunate shortcuts

As for saltless fries: yes there I definitely some that seem to care about excessive salt intake, we regularly had people ask for no salt patties where I worked, but I'd put money that the vast majority is people wanting sneaky fresh fries.

Some may stomp their feet over not getting their old favorites or having to contend with odd approximations but I think more of the games should have done that and it should have been sooner.

Well, that is if we're only counting TCGs.

Other wise probably some normal card game like poker or something.

To optimization for as far as I've played TCG wise, probably old Pokemon. Draw, everything else, attack, end.

Magic picked up a lot of moving parts, ygo can't help but make more summoning mechanics, old DBZ had wonky damage calcs as I understand, VS was rather simple in hindsight so it's a contender, list goes on.

Oh, I know. Wish I could help outside of also suggesting indies because I too need to broaden my horizons, I'm just really poor.

I remember enjoying Dashboard recently though, granted that's RPG Maker indy. Then there are the Epic Battle Fantasy games that take a lot of cues from JRPGs.

I feel it's dropped a bit personally, used to work there years ago and last few times I've eaten the hut it's started to look cheaper and cheaper.

IHOP hit that same problem: I remember them having generally good bacon, sold ham steaks, and other things of that nature. Now the bacon is really thin and flimsy and the ham portions are 2 little squares.

It has some solid things, a classic three meat is pretty good and their cheese bread is near about the best cheese bread I've had from a chain, and it doesn't cost as much as other places.

But when you get down to some of the cheaper items it very much starts to taste like what you paid.

I think fire is going to get a bit more use in general due to thunder's unfortunate randomized hits. Not a lot of formations or enemies you can get use out a thunder with.

Raw power wise, freeze beats both.

Okay so with the effect doing a special summon I guess it can easily fuel general Xyz from rank 1 to 6. Not sure is fairies have the links for it to fuel good links but there still is the trouble of it not seeming like a good tuner for it being a tuner.

While I'm not very meta coherent:

1. What are you doing with a level 5 tuner that you may very well need to tribute for?
2. Quickdraw at least had an internal special summon it could use.
3. Does fairy even have the support currently for it to really benefit from a two monster search that eats a normal summon?
4. That search triggering banish is just so easy to cause to trigger, especially given that an internal function of the card is to leave the field since it's a tuner.
5. How the blood do you random your grave in a way that doesn't muck the graveyard? Cause I'm of the impression that that had to remain in a mostly static state.

That and her ultimate weapon required Malboro tentacles which are a bitch to get.

Archer(FFT)
Nearly every other class in Tactics is better than Archer due to its class skill of Charge which, unlike its War of the Visions iteration, does not lock on target being almost unusable at higher charges.

That out of the way it's time for hot takes.

I nominate these two classes because they both have 1 internal use that does not involve staying that class.

Lancer/Dragoon(FFT)
Like Archer's Charge Jump is CT dependent and doesn't lock on. It escapes Archer level because its movement unlock of Ignore Height is broken as heck but I can't honestly say I've stayed in Lancer beyond that because it just mulches the primary action command.

Ninja(FFTA/TA2)
Everything this class gets outside of Dual Wield is done better elsewhere. Throw is done better by Rangers in A2, status inducing spells are done better by Elementalists in both variety and damage due to magic growth, and Assassin is a dang near combat match.

This was actually quite rough for me and I've watched a decent share. I knew 1 was for sure real because I could place it but the others didn't sound familiar until somebody spoiled that I should have been familiar with 5 and I has an inkling that 4 was Parasite so I would have guessed 2 and 3 had TC not spilled.

I thought that was 1. Pretty sure it was DMC 1 at that, as I've never played [redacted], and distinctly remember navigating a sunken ship in first person with an infinite ammo automatic harpoon gun.

It was still a trash level though.
