College campuses have a right to allow or bar anyone they wish from speaking

You aren't owed a platform

They're not, unless they clearly violate specific guidelines.

Also, lol at Rebel for thinking that those on the left in Higher Education aren't trying to silence speech. And it ain't even new:

https://www.vox.com/the-big-idea/2017/10/25/16524832/campus-free-speech-first-amendment-protest

We should refuse to allow hateful speakers on campus, a campus faculty member said.
The statement was met with resounding applause. I mentally prepared for the response to what I was going to say next.
It was September, and I was at a forum at which several professors, including me, discussed free speech issues before a large audience of students at the University of California Berkeley.Several faculty and students had already implored Chancellor Carol Christ to revoke the invitations of conservative provocateurs Milo Yiannopoulos and Ann Coulter to speak on campus, and their declarations were met with enthusiasm.
Finally, I spoke up. Be clear that if Chancellor Christ were to exclude speakers based on their viewpoint, she would get sued and lose, I said. The speakers would get an injunction and be allowed to speak. They would recover attorneys fees and maybe money damages. They would be portrayed as victims. And since they would get to speak anyway, nothing would be gained.
No one applauded.
I have been dean of Berkeleys law school for several months. But before I arrived at campus, the university, home of the free speech movement of the 1960s, had become a battleground for a new kind of campus speech debate
I have been teaching First Amendment law to law students and undergraduates for more than 37 years. I have also litigated free speech cases, including at the Supreme Court. I believe that Chancellor Christ and the campus have done a superb job of adhering to the First Amendment, protecting free speech while ensuring the safety of students, staff, and faculty. But its also become clear to me that current college students are often ambivalent, or even hostile, to the idea of free speech on campus.
Students today are driven by a desire to protect their classmates from hate speech
Disputes over free speech on campus have long occurred, but today is different. Usually in the past, it was students who wanted to speak out and campus administrators who tried to stop demonstrations. Now it often is about outside speakers and outside disruptors, like the radical leftist protest group antifa. The campus is just the place for their battle.
At Berkeley and elsewhere, it is now often students and faculty calling for preventing the speakers while campus officials are steadfastly protecting freedom of expression.
In my seminars the past two years (before Berkeley, I was at UC Irvines law school), I was surprised by how much the students wanted campuses to stop offensive speech and the degree to which they trusted campus officials to have the power to do so. A 2015 survey by the Pew Research Institute said that four in 10 college students believe the government should be able to prevent people from publicly making statements that are offensive to minority groups.
While teaching our class on free speech on campus at UC Irvine, Chancellor Howard Gillman and I realized that the students desire to restrict hurtful speech came from laudable instincts. This is the first generation of college students to be taught from a young age that bullying is wrong; they have internalized this message. Many spoke powerfully of instances in which they or their friends had suffered from hurtful speech. They want to make campuses inclusive for all, and they know that hate speech causes great harm, especially among those who have been traditionally underrepresented in higher education.
Although all of this makes the context different today, the law of the First Amendment and the principles of academic freedom are clear and long established. The Supreme Court repeatedly has said that the First Amendment means public institutions cannot punish speech, or exclude speakers, on the grounds that it is hateful or deeply offensive. This includes public colleges and universities.
Every effort by the government to regulate hate speech has been declared unconstitutional. Over 25 years ago, more than 350 colleges and universities adopted hate speech codes. But every court to consider such a hate speech code declared it to be unconstitutional. The codes inevitably were far too vague in terms of what speech was permitted and what was prohibited. Of course, free speech is not absolute and can be punished when it incites illegal activity, constitutes a true threat that causes a person to fear imminent harm to his or her physical safety, or rises to the level of prohibited harassment.
This does not mean that campuses are powerless in the face of disruptive or hateful speech. Even though there is a First Amendment right to speak, that does not mean that protesters have the right to demonstrate in the middle of a freeway at rush hour. A campus surely could prohibit a large demonstration in a classroom building while classes are in session. Campuses can regulate when and where speech takes place in order to prevent disruption of school activities. Controversial speakers can be placed in auditoriums where it is easier to assure safety and prevent disruptions. Demonstrations can be placed in areas away from where classes are in session.
Although the First Amendment applies only to the government, including public universities, private universities should follow these same principles. They are essential to academic freedom, which is at the very core of a universitys mission.

Erwin Chemerinsky is dean and Jesse H. Choper distinguished professor of law at the University of California Berkeley School of Law. He is the co-author, with Howard Gillman, of Free Speech on Campus (Yale University Press, 2017).

The idea is that the default for a communal space in America is generally "white" and POC have to conform their identity, expressions, etc to fit socially. Advertising a space as for POCs lets people reject that "default white" coding. As they specifically state, the POC cafe was not white-excluding or anything.

Asians have no problem forming their own space without university interventions.

You have to actually post evidence that protests were major spreading events. You cant just say it.

https://www.theblaze.com/news/garcetti-los-angeles-coronavirus-protests-pinsky

On Wednesday, Garcetti finally admitted that public protests are likely causing COVID-19 cases to spike, despite a day earlier saying the opposite. During Garcetti's coronavirus press briefing, he was asked if the Black Lives Matter protests were causing an increase in COVID-19 cases.
Garcetti responded by saying that he had consulted with Dr. Barbara Ferrer, the Los Angeles County director of public health, and she stated that the large demonstrations were a factor in the spread of coronavirus.
"I talked again with Dr. Ferrer about that this morning. She does think some of the spread did come from our protests," Garcetti replied. "It's not the act of protesting that's a great and American thing to do no matter what your opinion is but protesting without maintaining physical distancing, without wearing your mask, without having sanitizer we just have to be smart. Whether you're at a protest or at your home, whether in your workplace or whether you're out shopping, these rules don't change."
"We do believe there is a connection, we don't believe that everybody has been doing this safely and wherever you can, please stay at home," he added.
Also on Wednesday, Dr. Ferrer acknowledged that the demonstrations are spreading the virus. "In situations where people are close together for longer periods of time and it's very crowded, we are certain that there is going to be spread," Ferrer said. "So, we've never said that there's no spread from people who were protesting."
"We've been really honest and said from the beginning that for any people that are in crowded situations for long periods of time which long for us means more than 15 minutes where you're in close contact with people, less than six feet apart and people aren't wearing a cloth face covering you have a heightened risk of either transmitting the virus if you are an asymptomatic spreader, or getting the virus from someone else who is spreading because they also are an asymptomatic spreader," she said.
During Garcetti's COVID-19 press conference on Tuesday, he said protests are not spreading the virus.
"We follow the data closely," Garcetti said. "There's no evidence yet that the protests led to much spread though it's something that Doctor Ferrer has hypothesized, but we haven't seen any conclusive evidence there."
Garcetti has participated in protests, where he didn't practice social distancing and even took his mask off.

East Bay Burglary Suspect Re-Arrested Hours After Release
The 32-year-old suspect who police said is a transient remained on "searchable probation" this weekend, Fremont police said.

FREMONT, CA A 32-year-old transient remained on "searchable probation" this weekend, Fremont police said, after he was arrested twice last Wednesday, the second time about five hours after he was released from jail after the first arrest.
Fremont police said Gabriel Lopez was arrested Wednesday after officers saw him casing the businesses at the Mission Valley Shopping Center.
Lopez was arrested on suspicion of possession a stolen pickup truck and on three outstanding warrants. The stolen pickup had been observed at the scene of numerous other commercial burglaries in the past month, police said.
Lopez was booked at 9 a.m. Wednesday into the Fremont Jail and released soon thereafter thanks to Alameda County's "zero bail" extension.
That same day, at 2:22 p.m., Lopez was arrested again for possession of another stolen vehicle and trailer.

He was issued another citation with a November court date, police said.
Detectives have linked Lopez and the stolen truck to numerous other commercial burglaries in Fremont.
In several cases, Lopez and an associate are seen wearing construction vests despite not being construction workers. Two cases have already been charged by the Alameda County District Attorney's Office, both scheduled for November court hearings.

You know, if bail still existed, he probably would be locked behind bars, instead of committing more crimes.

Just sayin.
