$15 minimum wage would destroy what few small businesses are left after Covid. The only reason to support it is if you want stores like Wal Mart to have a monopoly.

Hey, did you know this argument has been used for every single debate about whether or not to institute or raise the minimum wage? Don't worry, one day it will be correct, I'm sure.

You aren't looking for discounts? Red days before a three day weekend is a great buying opportunity to swing trade. Or load up on stocks you believe in.

Between that and crypto, I'm tapped out at the moment, but I also think OTC Penny stocks aren't my game lol. Too much obsessively checking to capitalize on movements. Not the best thing when I'm at my regular 9-5.

I'm thinking I should just do some good long term options and leave the meme and penny stocks to the people that are better equipped to follow them. Or maybe just put into a good ol' boring MF.

I bought them on Switch a couple months back. Played them for about 15 minutes and then remembered why I hadn't played them since about 1998.

As much red as I've been seeing lately, I just gotta remind myself that I'm still 30% up on all my investments since I've started really actively trading as of 3 weeks ago.

Right there with ya bud. Sundial helped me recover my AMC bag holding losses, so I'm about even now.

I've learned a lot the last few weeks, a lot of it here.

Still coming out ahead but damn

Me too unfortunately. I actually do like SNDL, they have no debt, but I wasn't watching those gains continue to slip.

Still really like 1 & 2. I can't bring myself to finish 3. Target audience isn't a big issue for me, my family and I love going to Disney. For me it just comes down to not being happy about the story. It was bad enough that you really kinda needed to play Chain of Memories to understand what was happening at the beginning of 2, but the amount of spin-offs you need to play now just to sorta make sense of the story is just.... no. You'd think at some point someone would have said "Gee, this is getting a little complicated for just wanting to kidnap some princess's and steal their hearts. Maybe we should scale this back a bit?" But nah, they just let Nomura do whatever idea he came up with while tripping on whatever he was on.

So did the squeeze get squoze?

There's a lot of things going on. No doubt other funds have shorted the stock again. That combined with the various retail brokerage places limiting the amount of shares you can buy, taking forever to approve new accounts, or just outright shutting down the ability to buy it at all is leading to price drops, along with the laddering; which is causing people to panic sell.

If nothing else, this has shown everyone how truly rigged the game is. Investigations won't matter either, even if they do find wrong doing the worst that can happen is a fine. "Oh you manipulated the market to to make $20bil for your hedge fund? Tsk tsk, pay this $100mil fine."

So we still holding AMC?

I am, mainly because I actually do think the company will have some sort of bounce back once the country starts to open more and more. I half purchased it for the meme, and also half purchased it because I figured even if the meme died it still seemed like a relatively low risk / low reward option I wasn't touching Gamestop though lmao.

I would literally rather play Pitfall over today's "Hey, buy our incomplete game for $60 and maybe we'll patch some stuff, maybe we won't, but also don't forget to buy the season pass for $30 so you can have access to new gear that you can't get otherwise and get a new area to explore that allows you to get the 'true' ending. And hey, if you want, you can pre-order the legendary edition which is $140 and comes with the game, DLC, and a $5 statue that we're going to say is worth $80."

My kingdom for a complete fucking game.

It might get me to go to Universal again. My wife and I swore the last time we went was the last time. 90% of the rides are 3D gimmicks, which is cool the first visit but mind numbingly repetitive on all subsequent visits. Obviously I'm being hyperbolic with the 90%, but they do have a lot of them and they keep putting more in.

Yeah.... I think I fought against it long enough, but I'm finding less and less time for gaming. Even when I do have a moment I normally end up sitting on my couch scrolling through the absolutely insanity that is my back log and never actually making a decision on playing anything. My daughter is 15, she'll be driving next year, then it's time to think about college, but my wife and I are also talking about moving to a place where the cost of living isn't so high. I just don't have the time or energy to sit and play games like I used to.

That's a thought that used to bother me, but I've found in 2020.... when sitting on the couch has been my only option for months out of this year, I've realized that there are other things I would rather be doing.

OK. So here's where all the 1st amendment auditors that get mad that Twitter doesn't want devout Neo Nazi's using their privately owned service, get all up in arms at this actual 1st amendment violation where the government is attempting to limit free speech because Kpop stans hurt the Presidents feelings, right? RIGHT??!!

Yeah... The Batmobile hurt it for sure. I have no idea what they were thinking with making so many mandatory Batmobile sections. As others also said, the story was fairly meh. I legitimately have no idea why they treated Red Hood like it was some big mystery as to who it was.

As much as I didn't like it, you know what's worse? Arkham Origins. People forget that game even exists. I played it for about 30 minutes and haven't touched it since. None of the Arkham collections even have it on there
