That's what gave me the idea and it seems to work pretty well.

The obvious solution is to have all sports leagues separated into weight divisions.

They call themselves "the silent majority" so anything you can do is show them that their views are unpopular is gonna help break that delusion and might get them to rethink things.

No. Paras is a bug with an irritating fungal infestation. Parasect is the Mushroom literally having sucked the life out of it.

If we trust the pokedex then you're technically right as earlier entries refer to the bug as a Paras but the mushroom is already calling the shots even before the evolution.
