Ki_cat_ 11/15/20 3:43:02 AM #8 | Unless they change the lore around, it wouldn't make sense. Half the fun to me, is the mystery. --- People are afraid of what they don't understand. |
Topic | Has failing at a game ever made you legitimately upset? |
Ki_cat_ 09/23/20 12:38:47 AM #1 | I've played games in an already bad mood so failing over and over didn't really help. I've also gotten frustrated because I hate letting games beat me sometimes so I'll keep trying. Ultimately? It never lingers long like a bad day at work or something might. It's a hobby. --- People are afraid of what they don't understand. |
Topic | Gamers are too spoiled now (ES6 thoughts) |
Ki_cat_ 08/28/20 11:33:56 PM #17 | I personally don't mind optional compasses but yes. Factions should feel a little more political like the various morrowind houses. I don't like this "master of all, do no wrong" stuff open world games have now. --- People are afraid of what they don't understand. |

Ki_cat_ 08/28/20 6:53:20 PM #9 | Most "online only" games don't shine too bright if the series is mostly SP. That being said, I lost hope after Skyrim. It's not "terrible" just pretty mindless and shallow. --- People are afraid of what they don't understand. |

Ki_cat_ 08/28/20 5:58:53 PM #1 | I'm messing around with Morrowind and it got me thinking how people would react now if some mechanics were brought back to ES6. I mean my "spoiled" comment in the least condescending way. - What if stats were brought back and we were locked out of some quests for not meeting stat checks? Like if you rolled warrior-centric class you won't be head of the mages guild as easily. You'll need to beef up your magic skills first! -Being able to kill essential NPCs that can mess with quests? Some things I understand like mark/recall. --- People are afraid of what they don't understand. |

More of a North American culture I think. I agree that sharing and all that sentimental stuff is nice. --- People are afraid of what they don't understand. |

Ki_cat_ 08/02/20 2:19:25 AM #1 | I really don't understand going all out and spending extra money. Sure, you will need more food if people visit but even then, people overeat and have a lot of leftovers. I dunno. Maybe I'm just not a huge "foodie" and don't really want to spend all that time and money cooking and cleaning. I think it's fine to treat yourself or something like that but you don't gotta go crazy with food. Nor do I really feel the need to stuff myself sick. --- People are afraid of what they don't understand. |
