I found it's easier to pull the sweater over the drawstring than to try to guide the draw string into the sweater. I would just bunch up the sweater along the plastic tip of the draw string and then hold the tip as I unbunched it. Still tedious as hell. I'd do the wire thing, but i don't really have anything but smallish paperclips which only help a little bit and it pains me feeling the tip catching on the sweater. --- |

He said he tried it on the sink at first, because of the ring that forms around the faucet handle, and he was gonna scrub it with some scotch brite, but he didn't want to scratch it, so he sprayed it with vinegar and it started dissolving, so he tried it on the toilet ring too and lo and behold it worked. He also asked me to vacuum today, apologized about any clutter in his room that could make it hard to vacuum, and also reminded me to pick up any potential floss before vacuuming so it doesn't get tangled in the vacuum. I love my dad, he's a smart guy, and he does way more for me than i deserve, but we're both so stubborn that avoiding arguments is something of a daily thing for us. Maybe some day when i have as much experience as him, I might see the world the same way he does, but as of right now I just don't. --- |

When i brought up the executive orders that Biden signed, i listed off a few of them and he said "Does any of them actually benefit Americans?" He asks loaded questions like this trying to start an argument, which is why i said i didn't want to get into it. I looked up the executive orders, tried to find one that isn't arguable in any way that it's not beneficial, which was this one. Executive Order on Preventing and Combating Discrimination on the Basis of Gender Identity or Sexual Orientation At the time i presented it to him, i just said that there was an EO designed to prevent and combat gender discrimination in the workplace (My bad, i know). But then he made an argument about how it's actually not that helpful. That it's already illegal to discriminate against gender in the workplace and this EO was pointless blah blah. His question was an EO that only benefitted Americans, i thought this fit the bill with no room for debate. I was wrong. --- |
