Yeah, definitely check it out some time. I enjoyed my time with it. I'm not sure it hits quite the same highs as 999 and VLR, but I think its main cast is more fun.

Every guy in Somnium is bizarrely obsessed with porn for whatever reason. As in, "let me at that porn, nevermind the shootout I'm currently in."

I think I like 999 the most, but that's mostly because it's self-contained. VLR sets up so much that ZTD could never follow through with literally all of its plot points.

Just beat AI The Somnium Files, the ending scene was cute with the whole dance number at the end with all the main and supporting characters, though it's bizarre that the song was in English even though I had the Japanese audio for the rest of the game.

Calli was really bringing that "clueless harem protagonist" energy at the end of the Shrek watchalongs when she admitted that she hadn't seen Kiara's new music video, which was about her.

I think I made one of the main two a ranger, and the other guy just chucked grenades, with a bit of casting. You don't really need a tank, since one of the recruitable party members can do that job better than either of your player characters.

My favorite Zero Escape lore from Uchikoshi is that Sigma's packing 9-inches flaccid, 18-inches erect. He can apparently fold it into the shape of the sigma letter. He wasn't allowed to elaborate on this when asked about it at a panel at Anime Expo the year ZTD came out.

For what its worth, quite a few more people were okay with Nozawas voice for Goku Black, probably because at that point a lot more people were watching Super in sub before the Dub released.

That's awesome, sort of like that spine whip that someone found in a basement, but that was probably a movie prop.

I say Knuckles in 2 because Tails can be with Sonic and the human guy. Knuckles can be with Eggman for most of 2, especially since we've already seen echidnas and Eggman seemed to end up in Mushroom Hill Zone at the end of the first one. Not sure how voice casting works for these movies though, since it looks like they're only just approaching people to voice Knuckles.

I assume Knuckles will be in 2, and maybe Metal Sonic can be in 3.

At least they understand how weird it was in hindsight. As long as you can acknowledge your own cringe moment and move on from it, there shouldn't be any real harm done.

It definitely starts off harder when all your characters are fairly weak, but it eases up after Act 1 a bit, especially since you get to respec infinitely to fix your build. Definitely stick with it.

What thing to note is that the game is inherently jank, and you can definitely use that to your advantage. Try picking off individual enemies from big fights and run when you get a kill so you can reset the encounter with one less guy. Try to get everyone access to teleportation so that you can get people out of position and wail on them.

I've heard that anything that flakes like toasted bread makes a huge mess in zero gravity, so probably something soup or smoothie based.

If you're having trouble making skill shots, you probably shouldn't be playing a DPS too often until you're more used to mouse and keyboard. I'd say to have at least a couple heroes you're decent with in each category, so that ideally you have some for any team comp. Note I haven't played since they released the hamster, so I can't speak about specifics. Also if you're deadset on Widow, maybe jump into whatever the Free-4-All mode is. Positioning's a different game without a team, but you'll probably get better at landing headshots, and if you're not doing great it only affects you.

But also if it's quickplay lol who cares.

I don't know, I thought Brook had the most tragic backstory, with what happened to his crew and how long he was trapped on Thriller Bark. It just doesn't come up much because he's older and those memories are distant relative to other character's backstories.

I think he's recently took Sanji's old position as the one who goes off on his own. Back before Thriller Bark, Sanji would end up on his own quite a bit and end up, like as Mr. Prince in Alabasta and closing the gates at Enies Lobby. Brook in Whole Cake Island did the same when he was getting the Poneglyph sketch from Big Mom and breaking the portrait at the wedding.

SotN has an amazing OST, and I've only played Aria of Sorrow after it, but I get the feeling the other games in the series improve on the gameplay and map design a lot. Stuff like the subweapons from the classic games don't make sense in their current state, especially with the mechanics Alucard has in his repertoire. At least AoS integrated those weapons into a soul collection system.

Would rather have XCX2 than XC3.

I started watching Keijo ironically and it turned out to be a fun comedy fake-sports story.

Eh, they're just the new version of people that read Death Note and thought Light was right.

The drawback of Gear 4 is definitely going to disappear when he introduces the next one. That's how it always is

The issue is that once that happens, Gear 4 will probably stop mattering, also sort of like how Gear 2 and 3 are now.

If there was no drawback to Gear 4, he'd just spam it against everyone. At least it lets Gear 2 and 3 get some action occasionally whenever Luffy isn't all in on a fight.

On the other hand, I remember learning that one of the antagonist's powers is that he can induce debilitating orgasms in women, which is actually kinda funny as far as villainous superpowers go.

It wasn't just women, it was non-virgins in general. It was sort of just to answer which couples actually hooked up off-screen, but it's especially funny when it you see it works on the main antagonist and the only girl he has a history with, who also stopped aging physically at 13. >_>

I think what the game is telling you with this is that it's easy for a passive observer from outside to say "it'd be easy", but when you stack on the following:
* Very few people know each other
* There's a legitimate threat to the players' lives
* There's no guarantee that the game will allow enough rounds for everyone to escape. Zero III was specifically cagey about that.
It's not hard for a desperate person to come to the conclusion that the best thing to do is both protect themselves from losing points and attempt to get out as quickly as possible.

Also remember that the exit only opens once when someone who has enough points wants to leave, and seals everybody else in forever. All it takes is one bad Samaritan to screw over everyone else.

I chose New Vegas, but I guess I consider it an action RPG in my mind, and there is stat progression. I guess its just odd that New Vegas is that far down the list when its probably the most traditional RPG there. JRPGs are basically their own genre, since the only commonalities they share with WRPGs are stats and a focus on story.

I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing to try to establish an online presence, presumably before your vtuber rig is done. IIRC Artemis was also known about for awhile before she officially debuted, but I'm not sure if she was trying to start drama before that. I did see a few tweets reacting negatively to Calli's new song though. It might be about those sorts of people, but I wasn't fully aware that this was a thing in the community before this.

I just assumed that it was about the "Vtubers" on Twitter that haven't actually debuted yet but are trying to stir up drama in the community.

Glad I was able to finally watch the subbed version, I only managed to get a ticket to a dub viewing the second time it was in theatres.

Vtube Tengoku is one of the main one's I know about.

Gave up on Hollow Knight before ever reaching the first boss. Penalties for dying meant erasing file and starting again for me. After doing that a few times, it became a full on deal breaker.

Good, hopefully they can bring that Yakuza energy to their other properties.

This, also try not to mind the first arc - it's not bad, but a lot of the series staples that people like show up after the first arc.

I enjoyed it, but I think it was a stepdown from Infamous 2. Not like a huge stepdown, but I think Infamous 2 had a more interesting setting and plot. At the very least getting around the map is fun.

I meant in the post-game, though I guess I could've worked on maxing out the preppers before that. You kinda stopped like 10 minutes before the end though (barring cutscenes).

I couldn't imagine going through that game a second time without all the ziplines, or even without the highways. My least favorite part of the game was returning to the east coast to max the preppers there in the post-game, with no zipline infrastructure and barely any bandwidth to create one.
