My coloring/shading isn't great, I'm not really good at that sort of thing, but I've tried to add it to some more pieces, cause people generally like color more that B/W. It's definitely missing from the hair, and probably other places, such as the armpit. I also sill have trouble with proportions and the like, it might be alright as it, but I'm sure there's places to improve. Perspective might be off, I feel like the shoulder on the left doesn't line up perfectly, among other things. The linework is evidently not clean if someone looks at it.

I get frustrated sometimes because I can tell things aren't correct, but I feel like attempts to fix it fail, and I can't always use words to properly discuss what's wrong with it. In this case, I feel like the arm on the right is at least a bit off, maybe it should be angled higher? It could be the elbow is too high or too low, but I'm not good at judging it. In a sense I went backwards from some of my previous things, where the poses were made at bit more dynamic. I tried to have to correct my lines less in this instance. It kinda worked.

You really changed a lot of the coloring for the final part. Not that I'm complaining, it's pretty interesting to see the differences.

That coloring is really clean. Ill admit Im still sort of accidentally color outside the line tier, so Im always impressed when I see it done well, especially since it doesnt have any redone places where it looks clearly darker at points. Just looks smooth.

Havent drawn much recently. This was another lesson thing. I messed up the preliminary part, and accidentally misunderstood the second part. So the proportions were broken from the beginning, and it didnt recover from the second. It happens though. I feel the desire to show off even my mistakes, to ensure I do better next time.

Sorry to post twice in a row. I would say my previous one was a success in upside down copying, or close enough, but this one was relatively a failure. Its true in this instance I wasnt copying a line drawing, but I dont think that matters too much. I started from the legs, and I think problems really began at the arms. You can tell the left shoulder (my left) might be a bit too far away. I guess this is where disassociation (or lack of) of the mind and previous knowledge comes into play.

The head might actually be the worst bit, because I leaned into the fact I had made a mistake with the arm. The right hand is weird in part because of the messed up arms. Honestly, the legs look short too, but the character is short and the shot is actually at a bit of an angle. So perhaps my mistakes were really just from a lack of carefulness, and were ever present. Gives me something to think about while I wait for my new stuff.

I decided to try a little harder at really learning, and not just trying to get better without methodology. One of the first steps is some upside down image copying, because its easier to disassociate from what you think the image should look like (or something like that). Its not perfect, but its always better than you think itll be when youre doing it. It also forces me to take it slow, which I often have trouble doing. I have another one (besides the starter one), but Im a bit iffy on posting it. I might do a few more of these types of things while waiting for drawing materials to come in.

I believe that some come with codes for programs, either as an extended trial or something else. Not all do, but I believe there are a few decent free programs out there.

I'm not particularly good, but I tried drawing then coloring a few pieces, this is probably the best of the 3 I did, but still obviously amateurish. I basically referenced somebody else's work as well while doing it, so eh. I need to learn fundamentals, I slack on it. On retrospect, I was really lazy with the eyes, though I could just say I was trying something new.

For you guys that posted, what tablets do you use?
I use a Wacom One. It's kind of expensive, esp if you don't have much in disposable income. But less so than a new game console.

I never quit games cause theyre too hard I think, more because I find them tedious, take a break, and never get back to it. Most recent would be San Andreas, some missions you fail end up having you drive a lot to get back to where you need to be.

Hmm, as someone who plays Smash a decent amount, Im not sure thats really accurate. The article mentions a 0-death, but the only one Im aware of is easily avoidable and only at the ledge, but perhaps there is something else. Its difficult to say exactly how strong the character is, I feel shes much more frustrating in neutral, as opposed to S4 Bayos punish which was obscene.
