Less maintenance to worry about than an AR15 and the ammo is currently cheaper.in other parts of the world yes. if youre concerned about absence of magazines which probably wouldnt happen, an SKS is a good alternative because it uses the same ammo 7.62*39 with internal magazine. in the West, an M1 Garand would be sufficient for an internal magazine, but 30-06 might be less common than 7.62*51 NATO. Lee enfield MK4 is another good choice for internal mag depending where you live. Or even mosin nagant. |
