where do I get this familiar? And I don't play for challenge, I play for story. I know its not popular but I'm about the journey and not about the challenge. I don't have enough time to try and work a game like that. I have too many games in a backlog to worry about if I'm being challenged enough >_>

I was the person who discovered I liked that kind of violence and warfare from a young age while still finding joy in the lighter things like Pokemon.

The 90s produced a lot of things that got past the radar but Animorphs was one of the things that made a lasting impact for good or bad depending on how you turned out. Cant say it made for normal children but it did make some of us stronger mentally.

Definitely agree, sometimes I felt guilty reading because I knew my parents would freak out if they knew the kind of content. Even though I read the whole series to completion, once they introduced the auxiliary Animorphs the series never resonated with me the same way.

There is no way Animorphs wouls have gotten past the censors and checks today as it was.

I think KA Applegate got a perverse joy at how she got those books to actually be marketed to children but hey it made for stronger children of the 90s hopefully.

Nothing relaxes a 13 year old after some pokemon gaming like a good book about dismemberment, graphic mind fuckery, and some guerrilla warfare to settle in for the evening before you fall asleep.
