I suppose it's the same reason most societies don't let people walk around completely nude.
Even in the societies where people can legally walk around naked, they still typically don't.

It's like the whole concept of a society is based around people being able to express what they don't want other people to be doing, and most people don't want to see most other people naked.

There's a calendar in Maria's born from a wish scenario that shows a November starting on Thursday, which she says was from 10 years ago. Some peoples had worked that out to fit 1984, with the game taking place in 1994, but I suppose, that would also work for the game taking place in 1983, just shortly after Silent Hill 1.

Rather than individuals and specific ages, is it not more the amount of people at any age being reasonably smart enough to make informed decisions that they won't regret?

Like that's why it's definitely not 15, cause most 15 year olds are dumbasses that dont yet fully understand all the physiology and the complex psycho-social intricacies that go along with it, especially when it comes to having older partners. You can be a lot more confident that by 18 most people have it figured out.

Much harder! Bigger longer levels, harder time trials, and a new addition of nsanely perfect relics where you have to get all boxes without dying, if you want the platinum.

Some levels have like 500 boxes.

But yeah, Crash 2 is definitely the best

I'd definitely play that if they made it FF7 remake style. Not gonna happen, but would be awesome. Graphics wise, FF8 always seemed ahead of the technology, would be good to see its art style fully realised.

Same with FF6 too, and by then FF10 would be due a remake as well. Laughing scene with high def 3D audio.

Yeah the pacing kinda ruined any momentum the story had, and the story itself was a bit of a jumble.
Making all the characters unrelatable psychopaths didn't help it either.

I've also heard people complain the gameplay is stuck in 2013, not really much different from the first game, which is kinda true, but I really liked it in the first one so didn't really see that as a problem having more of the same.

I think a lot of the right wing politicians are cleverly subtle about their terrible ideas, but Trump's just so much of a blatant dumbass that anything he's says is automatically more outrageous.

It's not just gamefaqs, all news and social media seem to have recently had Trumps stupidity push left leaning people more extremely left, and consequently pushed the rights more extremely right in response.

I don't really care about the constitution stuff, but twitter can totally ban anyone for anything, it's just a social media site. If it can ban your weird uncle for having stupid political arguments on it, then it can ban the president for having stupid political arguments on it.
If anything it should ban Biden now too to ensure he doesn't waste any time using it the way Trump did when he should've been doing some presiding.

I truly believe what you just said is where we are headed and honestly probably for the best. Trump's cult is too big and too far gone, I dont see how normal people are supposed to live with them going forward. Give them their own country and everyone wins, why force people who hate each other to coexist? We tried, had a decent couple hundred year run, but it's over. Cut our losses and go our seprerate ways.
That would be an interesting experiment, split the country into red USA and blue USA (the reds would naturally build a wall to ensure they're kept separate) then wait a few years and compare results.

Woodger
01/03/21 8:58:00 AM

4K streaming tends to be much more compressed, transferring data at about 10 - 30 Mbps, but 4K blu-rays can do this quicker, up to 100 Mbps, so although the resolution is the same the blu-ray can squeeze a lot more detail into each frame, giving better picture quality.

It's possible streaming will improve and catch up in the future, but don't think Netflix or that are planning this any time soon. It's expensive for them to do and current 4K streams are good enough for most people.

For Last of Us, the first one and the Uncharteds were co-written/directed with Bruce Straley and Amy Hennig, so it maybe wasn't so much that Neil Druckman dropped his game with it as he didn't have the backup from the other guys.

Last of Us 2 had plenty similarities, but definitely also had something missing that the first one had.

I didn't hate the Last Jedi either, but it was obviously a very different feel to 7 & 9. I wonder if having a better George Lucas guy to keep the story more consistent between them would've helped?

I'm just not willing to tip-toe around the fact that all of this stuff is nonsense.
See this is a prime example - it's a 'fact' that it's nonsense, he cannot bring himself to ignore anyone believing something different because he is definitely right about this. No other reasoning than because some churches don't pay taxes. This is the sort of thing people will dismiss as edgy the same way they'll dismiss overtly devout religious people who won't hear that they could possibly be wrong.

Solid Sonic posted...
I agree but I find it depressing. Something about the knowledge that a) my mother is very likely dead and gone forever and that's the end of it and b) that's my fate too has me kind of disheartened. The notion that consciousness can persist after death gives hope and the idea that life has meaning. My mother was a woman of strong faith (not the most pleasant or reasonable about it but she had conviction, let it be said) and the fact I don't share that has created a sense of detachment and nihilism I wish I could take back in some ways.
I mean reality's probably a computer simulation if that helps, so it's quite possible that theists and atheists are both wrong about death, afterlifes, consciousness etc. There's some comfort to take in agnosticism really, knowing that you don't really know.

Depends on how edgy you're being about it.

Nah, you still get the fedorabeard types that see some extreme religious nutjobs and jump to stereotyping billions of people all as unenlightened idiots believing in 'sky fairies' etc, and they've kinda influenced their own stereotypical image of atheism in response. These people like to see the extreme of the opposite side cause that's easier to ignore.

But legitimate skepticism, without the subtext of 'I'm right and you're wrong/stupid', is fine for most people.
