woah beyond meat (BYND) in the premarket

Makes me regret not buying more and selling off one of my shares on Friday. I felt it was overvalued then and still feel that way, and so I have a pending order for when it's back down again.

My AMC investments have finally turned slightly profitable but I'm not sure if I should sell this meme stock or keep riding it. I bought it because of the meme, but I do believe AMC will make a comeback someday so I was throwing more money at it to get my average cost down.

I regret not starting back then. At the time, I didn't realize the stock market changed to go commission-free, which is what kept me out before as I didn't have the cash to make large enough purchases to make it worth it.

I did a limit buy of AMC for $5.50 that didn't execute because it went to $5.51. Now AMC is $6.45 and I hate myself

Yeah, having everything connected to our Google Account is scary.

NEVER have all your data in just one place. It's recommended that you have it in three places.

Personally, I have the important stuff in a service that's free (Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive), a service I pay for (Backblaze, but may switch to iDrive), my computer, and a NAS (basically a file server at home).

I've been called a Boomer for this, but I don't trust the cloud as anything but offsite backup. I'm glad that even if my house is destroyed that my data is safe on some servers somewhere else, but I don't trust keeping my data in just one location, physically or cloud. What happened here is a good example of why.

Don't wait. Please don't wait. Seek therapy.

I was you at 27. Heck, I was you just last year, at 30. And therapy has helped me a lot since then. I still have depression and anxiety, don't get me wrong. But it's better now and I'm building up my life for the long term when I thought I never would. My biggest regret is that I lied to my doctor about my mental health and had to get into a car accident and basically get accused of having anxiety by my physical therapist to get me to do anything about it.

Please go seek out a therapist. Your life will be better for it. I promise.

Probably because the average houses here cost 400k.

This too, except I'm in LA so it's about 600k. Cheaper ones are around 400k, although most homes under 500k are not traditional houses, but condos and manufactured houses.

It's different for me because my mom is single and we're basically financially codependent. I can afford to move out on my own, but she could become unable to afford rent if I do that.

I am looking into buying a place with her though.
