TopicJoe Biden REJECTS cancelling $50k of student debt per person
foxhound101
02/17/21 3:02:27 PM
#51
I'm not in favor of this level of debt forgiveness. I would be in favor of giving everyone X amount of money, if you make less than Y amount of money. That way those that need to use it for student debt can, and others could use it for other types of debt.

And the bigger problem is still addressing the skyrocketing tuition costs. Debt forgiveness only encourages the colleges to continue what they've been doing.

Calc 2 was the highest I got which I took while in college. It was also the class that convinced me not want to take another math class again. I sort of enjoyed Calc 1, but Calc 2 was just awful.

Math was actually a course I decently enjoyed in high school lol.

Minethrower is fun, but might not be the best choice for a first run through the game.

This is my basic weapon rundown.

Handgun: Red 9
Shotgun: Shotgun for majority of the game until the Striker becomes available
Rifle: Automatic Rifle (Although nothing wrong with the Bolt-Action if you don't mind reloading. It technically is the stronger weapon)
Magnum: Broken Butterfly (hopefully you pick up the free one which is somewhat easy to miss)
Optional extra firepower: TMP

The last time I needed a mattress I found the in store shopping experience to be unpleasant. The salesman approach was a real turn off. Not only were the prices too high, but it's hard to tell if you'll actually like the mattress. A mattress that seems comfortable for the first 2 minutes of laying on it might not be comfortable after 8 hours of laying on it. You really have no idea.

My boyfriend and I both bought foam mattresses online. Mine is a bed in a box, and his is a tuft and needle. Both of us are happy with our purchase. Foam is the way to go and you'll be looking in the $500 to $1500 range.

The community I moved into is unique. I guess it's sort of a condo? Anyways no yard has been amazing for us lol. We have a small side yard with fake grass. The front yard which has grass and trees is the responsibility of the HOA. It's been amazing. My prior house had a beautiful backyard, but it took too much effort to maintain it.

Do you like other Metroidvanias? It's a good Metriodvania game. But if you don't like the genre then that makes sense that you were not enjoying it.

I did play it for a few hours. And although I see it's potential I'm not sure I'll finish it. The genre itself isn't for me, and I usually skip this type of game as I never enjoy having no guidance, being lost, having to backtrack every time you get a new ability, etc.

I still need to play GoW 4. My recommendation to you is to play GoW 1-4, and then from there you can decide if you still want to play the other games that are a part of the series.

GoW Accession can most likely be skipped. As someone that just played the game it was disappointing. The story telling was a mess, and the combat was by far the weakest of any GoW game.

For the God of War Saga collection it may, or may not allow you to play the PSP games. My copy of it had expired codes for the PSP games.

It depends. Once you've had 2-3 professional jobs it is time to consider dropping older jobs from your resume. If you want to include them you can, but at that point you may just want to say the name of the job and the years worked and not list your responsibilities. You don't want your resume to be 4+ pages.

What I'm getting from this topic and Unfair is that the less training you have the better prepared you'll be for zombies. Apparently anyone skilled at fighting is guaranteed to be bitten.
It's also okay to ignore that RE heroes if bitten were able to get a cure, but for snake that would be impossible.

I really should go back and play those games again. I played them when all three games were already out and had a blast. The first game was the best story wise. The second game improved the gameplay and had a decent story. The third game was good if you could ignore the story, especially the ending.

The second game gets bonus points for introducing Mordin. He was my favorite.

Cars are definitely one of those things that people buy even though it's a terrible financial mistake. People either buy too many cars, or buy a car that costs way more than they can actually afford. The cost of the car, financing, insurance, etc. it all adds up and the total cost only goes up as the price tag goes up.

It always amazes me and my boyfriend whenever we take a walk outside how many cars people have. Cars are a huge expense and yet some houses will have 4 cars parked outside the garage. And of course at least one of the is a truck which are generally even more expensive.

We are also amazed by one of our neighbors. The homes in our area are valued at around $300,000. And one of them bought a car worth about $200,000. How...why?

The fact of the matter is that Schools have a strangle on the costs of the services they provide. They can force you to only purchase books from their stores, can also charge you full price for a virtual lesson/lab fees/etc the list goes on and on. The problem is that the schools that are charging 30+k a year are also the ones banking off of sports and other business opportunities, they aren't acting in good faith and expanding their product in relation to the amount of money they are getting.

I'm not saying they shouldn't make money. But I know first hand that even your rinky dink small town university still has a dean with a 20k lincoln desk in his office and drives a Corvette. They make asinine amounts of money at the end of the day and don't even give back to their teachers unless youre in the upper echoes of respect. It's a toxic cycle that is making people dumber in america because they aren't getting proper educations even in college, and then are going into debt for a degree that's worth nothing.

This. I'm all for fixing the student loan crisis. But that doesn't fix the real problem which is WHY are college degrees so expensive? Why is everyone encouraged to get a degree without thinking about alternatives? Why do useless degrees exist, and why do colleges force you to spend so much time on stupid stuff?

Personally I'd rather see more stimulus money for people making under xxxxx dollars than student loan forgiveness. That money can be put into paying off a student loan, or other costs.

It didn't prove that Russia was able to hack into the voting records, or submit fake ballots. Which is what Trump has implied happened with this election.

But it did reveal that Russia was heavily involved in spreading fake news which helped to get people to vote the way Russia wanted.

College Education - I don't support this. It doesn't solve the problem which is bloated costs. They need to focus on having colleges justify their cost of education and what they spend their money on. The entire education system needs a reform. Trade school needs to be encouraged and not thought of an option for failures.

Healthcare - Yes yes yes. You end up paying for it anyways. Getting sick or severely injured could bankrupt you. You pay more for your care because some people can't pay the bill. Unless you want to kick people out of the ED that can't pay for their care that will always be a contributing factor. Insurance companies just add to the admin costs.
