When people die, it goes somewhere, and I think a lot of people misinterpret what some people refer to as a "ghost" in a sense. Consider how a battery works, Davelis Cave near Athens is a prime example. There are constantly voices captured there, speaking in greek, at times chanting, singing. It's not an intelligent haunting or phenomenon, but rather the right minerals like limestone in the correct weather conditions with static in the air that record moments in time and they are replayed. It's not a ghost stuck there, it's residual energy that plays back. A lot of people think when people discuss this stuff that we think invisible spirits of intelligent ghosts are just wandering around everywhere. Like GF said, there's a hell of a lot more questions raised than answers, but as someone who experienced things myself, there's something to it. I don't know if I believe any of it is intelligent or conscious. Absolutely my thoughts as well. I believe residual energy is like 90% of it. You're basically just watching a movie stuck in an infinite loop. The "ghost" isn't actually aware of you or even itself, like I said it's just movie or video clip on repeat. Howm'ever. There is that other 10% that really gives me chills. We've had intelligent answers to our questions caught through EVPs and other equipment. A residual "haunting" isn't gonna acknowledge we are even there.
