These schools need to get with the times and realize that people will have access to smartphones in their everyday life and can use the apps to problem solve.

If they could limit people to specific apps it would probably be fine, but I can't see any school letting students use a device that lets them communicate freely with anyone anywhere in the world on an exam.

My wife would be unhappy.

While a lot of my complaints about Discovery have to do with Michael, they are more based around the fact that early on they spent way too much time focusing on her and ignoring pretty much every other character. Star Trek has always been an ensemble show and they seem to have forgotten that at the start of Discovery.

If the first season covers the first arc in the comics she would only be in the last episode (assuming they followed the comics closely).

I just finished re-reading the comics, and while I'm hopeful for a good adaptation, it would be very easy for them to mess it up.
At least the casting choices seem good.

No. I keep mine on whatever sounds like the right volume level.

My wife has ruined our children by microwaving their corn dogs for them (as well as chicken nuggets). Now whenever I try to cook them in the oven they complain that they want it in the microwave.

My wife is insane and thinks Nesquick is better.

I tip when eating at restaurants and for delivery, but I get really annoyed when I'm ordering for pick-up and the website tries to select a tip by default.

All the pizza huts near me closed down. The nearest one is 30 miles away.

We had the Pizza Hut closest to our house close down a couple years ago, and while I don't mind Pizza Hut, I'm not going to drive that far to get it.

It really depends on what you're into, since there are a pretty big variety of sets available. I'm a sucker for all the NASA sets the put out, and the Saturn V is probably the best one of those available at the moment.
