Anyone looking for long term holds on WSB deserves to lose money.

I dont think you get what Im saying.

Person A buys a whole bunch of shares of a stock. That stock starts rising exponentially. WSB decides to go after that same stock. Now, that stock tanks super hard ruining person As gains.

This is how WSB works.

WSB is cancer. Youll have someone post their really high gains. Then the board puts their money in it causing pump and dumps.

WSB is a threat to anyone that wants to invest long term in a company. It should be deleted just because of that.

I feel like the only safe stocks from them are those that are at least $250 a share

Its possible you end up paying child support for someone elses kid.

More often than not, people sell after earnings are announced no matter how good the earnings are.

Fidelity is insanely stupidly slow lol took 2 weeks to link my bank account (they said it would be 3 business days) and now that it's actually linked, they say I can't actually transfer money from it for another 3-4 business days.

Might be your bank ? I use BoA and it takes 1 day for transfers.

i sold $10,000 of long term stocks I had for something like $3,000 gain

then i bought back in with all $10,000 on various other stocks

lets say I sell $8,000 ENZC FOR $4,000 gain (where Im at rn), leaving the rest in the market

do I have to pay long term taxes on the $3000 AND short term on the $4000?

You pay on both but the taxes held for a year+ are lower than than the ones held for less than a year.
