I think the problem with ubi is that a small percentage of people still actually have to work in order for it to function, and things still go bad so work almost always need to be done, like maintenance and clean up. The idea behind ubi is to reduce the pressure of living, but at the end of the day all the things in our world that make up a person's daily life is necessary to reduce the pressures of living. You can't just give everyone $1000 a month to cover everything and then no one shows up to work cuz they've got an extra $1000+/month to spend on drugs, restaurants, designer clothes etc.... Who's going to choose going to work over messing around is my point? It's like you were a student and your teachers gave you the option between reading textbooks or talking amongst one another, and at the end of the day you'd all pass the class with a C.

I believe that blurred vision becomes un blurred when there is something you actually need to see. I also believe seeing things blurry sharpens the other senses so that when something you need to see appears you are able to recognize it.

For example, if you cannot see far, you'll see people's faces real blurry but your other senses sharpen, when there is something God wants you to see it'll show you that person's face, more than likely the person you'll see will be some kind of omen or important figure.

I know it's a bit cheesy, but that Gipsy curse thing has always terrified me. Ok, you still don't get it.

If i am looking at my friend from a building 100 feet away, he'd look fairly small. If I then switched places with my friend and he looked at me I would be fairly small, HOWEVER, the building would be huge. Now do you get it? The earth is the building, my friend is the moon... With that said, I'm not convinced the moon landing was a hoax.

My original point stands, if we can reach the moon and come back on an aluminum cardboard igloo using the ancient art of rocket science then the stories in the Bible are true. If you don't believe in God you better have a way better reason than he isn't real...

TC what is your take on schizophrenic belief? Someone said you have that illness, not sure if that's true.

But they are quite similar to religious beliefs.

Schizophrenia and mental illness in general are awful sentences, those disorders occur due to a poor ability to adapt and integrate into society mostly stemming from life traumas or intense fear or doubt in one's ability. I have heard that poor mental health symptoms greatly reduce with age as the mind "adapts" to the world and a person grows/matures. A mental health diagnosis that one truly believes or that others believe about you is an awful curse, but also a blessing from God as a way for you to achieve a higher understanding of who you are and your place in the world.

I am not a liar, I do in fact have schizophrenia, and confusingly enough medication, therapy, religion, sobriety and humility have been rehabilitating me. I am proud to say that I am on the lowest medication possible and will be completely off medication next year and fully rehabilitated by 2022 if God wills it.

I agree though, I need to watch what I say for sure. Thanks for looking out.

So you're trying to use science to understand religion/faith?

2 Chronicles 7:14
King James Version
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

That post was kind of rude, but people in this thread kind of deserve to see it, and feel it. Both science and God are both real, but I've never seen believers of God treat people like absolute trash for going "... Hey, wait a minute here... This is a strange world we live in." that's not to disrespect the science, I couldn't say what I am to you without it, but to ignore that science is suspect and completely deny God? Those folks haven't thought it through very well in my opinion or they hate God.
