People who aren't bright enough to grasp that there are other uses for blocking than "different opinions" actually baffle me.

It's not about being unable to grasp that; it's about whether or not that's actually the case. Again, most of the time it seems to be a difference in opinion that leads to blocking. People so quickly call each other racist, sexist, etc. regardless of whether or not it's true, because nuanced and intellectually honest conversations are apparently unwelcome and it's far easier to just hurl labels.

I love how people are trying to sell "boring" as some sort of amazing quality. You're getting blasted in the ass regardless of whether the government is boring or exciting, but at least the exciting government provides you with entertainment. "Boring" Obama still bailed out wall street and the rich still got richer at the expense of everyone else. Children were in cages during his administration and drone strikes were plentiful. He invaded seven countries under the guise of "freedom" during the "Arab Spring" and he extended rights-trampling laws like the patriot act. Him being "boring" didn't make any of this better.

Tyson would wreck a real life Bruce Wayne though.

Bruce Wayne is 6'2", 210 pounds of pure muscle, and highly proficient in 127 styles of hand-to-hand combat. There is no feasible way for Tyson to win, and that's just my nice of saying, "Tyson wouldn't stand a snowball's chance in Hell."

He's not wrong, but his reasons for saying it probably are.

But as much as people want to say "you have no right to an account" you also have no other options, and they don't want you to have any other options and will crush anything they deem as competition. People really shouldn't be defending this type of behaviour.

But hey, as long as it harms people who disagree with you who cares, right?

Finally, a smart response with some nuance.
