Was that poltergeist or the exorcist? Also Sixth Sense messed me up a bit. I think theres a scene where the kid sees some ghosts hanging from nooses in a stairwell? I was afraid of turning the corner going upstairs in my house for a good few years after that hahaha actually that one was part of a one-two combo, because I had seen some real ghost stories special on TV where a familys house had a hallway from hell where they had found their pet cat murdered and strung up on a wall. We had a pet cat at the time and the stock image in the special sort of resembled our upstairs hallway, ;;>_____> its funny. Our hall was painted white but Ill often remember it with a red tint thanks to that tv special --- |

(Though youll also need to warp past that because you cant beat the final boss with no equipment lol) Mega Man X5 isnt an adventure game, but you can prematurely trigger the cannon and space shuttle sequences to go straight to the final level. (Though this guarantees a bad end unless youve got god-tier RNG luck) --- |

Zelda 1 still had item-based progression, required you to piece together clues to unlock new areas, and had long, maze-like, action-based dungeons. BotW is an amazing game and definitely captured the feeling of exploration from the first games overworld, but failed to capture almost every other element of the gameplay. Hehe --- |

Absolutely garbage even by 1997 standards. Its actually amazing how much Square improved in that spect between 7 and 8 >_< --- |
