This is the first major event of E3, and games are expected to be announced here along with information on already known games. The actual name of this event is "Ubisoft Forward", but I find it more convenient to call it a Press Conference instead.

That's a lot of stuff for this year's E3. There's no way I'll be posting topics for all of those events. Here are some of the events that I would consider posting discussion topics for:

Ubisoft Forward
Devolver Cinematic Universe Showcase
Gearbox E3 Showcase
Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase
Square Enix Presents
PC Gaming Show
Future Games Show
Take-Two Interactive Panel
Indie Showcase
Capcom Showcase
Nintendo Direct + Treehouse Live

I went from INTJ before college to ENTP (or something) in college so if it's reflective of anything, which is questionable, I think it's more your current circumstances than anything inherent.

I think it can be possible to some extent to change some aspects of your personality, but doing a radical change like INTJ to ESFP seems pretty much impossible as they are complete polar opposites.

Introversion/extroversion may be the easiest aspect to change over time, especially for those who were closer to the middle in that area.

Yeah, it's useful for that purpose for sure. Apparently, I found out that the potential for getting into arguments with other people is increased when both people are J types. This was rather interesting since I have tested as an ISTJ.

It really can't be compared to zodiac signs since you can't change those, while it's technically possible for MBTI type to change over time.

There were many baseball players who used steroids back when they were completely legal within the sport. It was more than just a small minority of players using them during the late 1990s and early 2000s.

But the most famous users were Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire, and Sammy Sosa.

Looks like that poll graph thing was unintended after all, since today's poll already has the poll graph data public as soon as the poll got enough votes to begin showing Geolocation results.

Although weirdly enough, we've still got about 30 minutes left in today's poll and I see the poll graphs are already visible. So what I reported in my previous post was either unintended, or the poll graph data goes public after the poll reaches a specific number of votes (maybe like 10000 or so) or after running for a certain amount of time first.

Apparently, there was a recent change to the polls in which you cannot see the poll graphs on any poll that is still in progress. It is only after the poll ends that the poll graph data becomes public and the graphs can be viewed. This seems like a weird change to make, though I guess it could be used during a contest to potentially see whether someone's attempt to cheat a contest poll is actually working.

It's not a favorite game poll because it says "best all-time", which is not interpreted by voters the same way that a favorite game poll would be.

You can clearly see the difference in results between a "best game" poll and a "favorite game" poll by looking at these 2 polls:

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/poll/7638-
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/poll/7757-

It's not 100% comparable due to the second poll having an option for 3D Land, but that game is easily the least popular 3D Mario, so it doesn't really affect the results that much. What I clearly see from those 2 polls that is games which rely on nostalgia will perform worse in a "best game" poll. This applies to Mario 64 and Mario Sunshine, the only 2 3D Marios that are old enough on this site to possibly benefit from nostalgia. Mario Galaxy is a bit too recent to get any strength from nostalgia, at least among this site's userbase. In a "best game" poll, voters see it a bit differently and will actually consider the individual aspects of each game in weighing out which game to vote for. Where as a "favorite game" poll is a snap rush vote that is made without really considering the individual aspects of each game, so you see the effects of nostalgia present in the results.

I didn't realize we haven't run this poll in 7 years, but I can't imagine the number is above even 10% regardless. If anything, I think it's more likely that number has gone down.

The percentage for "Female" has been slowly going up over the history of the poll, but mainly because some of our existing male users discovered that they are transgender and make the transition to being female. When you have a relatively static userbase, even a very small number of male users transitioning to female would clearly have an effect on the results of the poll.

I finally went through the Super Mario RPG playrate poll to look at the Geolocation results.

US - 65.79%
Canada - 73.01%
Mexico - 70.94%

Pretty high results for all 3 major countries of North America.

Brazil - 64.07%
Colombia - 62.50%
Ecuador - 60.00%
Chile - 76.74%
Argentina - 35.42%

Results from the most notable countries in South America show that Mario RPG does quite well there too, with Argentina being the major outlier. Other South America countries likely have a sample size too small to draw any conclusions, especially Venezuela with that country's political situation.

UK - 32.06%
Ireland - 50.00%
Australia - 46.29%
New Zealand - 33.33%

Results from the other English speaking countries are much lower than the US/Canada, though Ireland and Australia fare the best while the UK does the worst and New Zealand only slightly better.

Norway - 48.84%
Denmark - 34.38%
Sweden - 60.46%
Finland - 43.75%
Netherlands - 44.72%
Germany - 47.26%
Austria - 58.34%
Poland - 34.43%
France - 52.59%
Italy - 35.10%
Spain - 38.00%

Now we get to mainland Europe and these are all the notable countries with higher playrate numbers than the UK. Sweden and Austria come the closest to matching the US playrate. The lowest playrates in Europe are mainly seen in Eastern Europe.

Asia playrates are among the lowest in the world, which isn't too surprising. Only South Korea and Japan have very high playrates for Mario RPG, but the voting base in those countries are mostly foreigners.

I don't know how TMs are going to be handled in the remake, but ORAS (the closest comparison here) turned TMs into infinite use after the original games (RSE) had only single-use TMs.

What will be more interesting is whether we get TRs in the remake, or if it will be TMs only.

I'm guessing the price is dictated by Nintendo (who publishes the game), and the developer has no say in what the retail price should be. If Nintendo wants it to be $60, then that's going to be the price regardless if the developer thinks it shouldn't cost that much.

And according to Serebii himself, the presentation will be around 20 minutes long.

I expect another Mythical Pokemon to be revealed, since Sword/Shield was datamined to reveal the existence of 2 slots in the Pokedex for which no data could be found. One of those slots now belongs to Zarude, so there's still one more unrevealed Mythical Pokemon remaining.
