My only two cents is I'm really fucking tired of self inserts though. Mostly because they usually end up getting really creepy.

Only thing Im sad was megaman starforce 4 got cancelled during that time too. Still sucks to see so many cancelled mega man games including legends finally getting a sequel after decades.

I loved how the tables turned with ppl making memes about mighty no 9 destroying capcom but got backlashed once its final trailer came.

I mean, the recent Resident Evils, Monster Hunter titles, and their absolute dedication to making SF5 an actually good game after a very rough launch. I miss BoF as well but they've been doing well since then.

Last time I used a self checkout, it locked up four consecutive times.

First, I removed a bag too early so it didn't finish weighing my fruit. Second, it couldn't figure out what a bottle of orange juice was. Third and fourth it froze while I tried to get to the pay screen. Third time it got unlocked by an employee and promptly froze again while she was still sitting there.

I was a fan of 'em for small purchases, but fuck it. If technology isn't convenient, what is it?

20 restoration attempts failed, recovered her OS alone, can't verify her backup account to restore everything but she can at least access everything important, apparently.

Rosemi's PC went full nuclear apparently, per her twitter.

Lost everything on PC, recovered, PC bluescreened multiple times during that.

It was a necessary sacrifice. Backlash from this and SFxT made Capcom pull their heads out of their asses and become one of the best devs around nowadays.

I'm not really curious who she is since I'd be very unlikely to recognize her anyway but would you happento know what her first language is? her english has weird mistakes here and there that I tend to associate with ESL but neither her french nor japanese seem good enough to be first language either, not that she said much in them. maybe it's just a case of learning too many languages making you forget others lol

She never really spoke about it, but I would wager that she's probably primarily Japanese as she was exclusively a JP VTuber in the beginning. That I know of anyway. It seems likely that she traveled a lot from what little tidbits I got. Only watched her for about 3 months before her graduation though as I just happened upon her by looking up something on Tekken and she was streaming it.

Yeah, it's a pretty specific combination. Think she's the only one that has that specific set amongst the indies that I know of.

Granted, I also don't expect them to be great. I expect good fight scenes, some drama, and stuff to explode.

Another one of my favorite indie VTubers in NijiEN now, pretty sure. Guess I'm mostly a Nijisanji fan now(well, mostly because NijiEN's schedule actually allows me to watch them regularly)

Every controller with analog sticks can drift. I went through... 2 PS4, a PS3, and like 5 XB360 controllers due to drift as well as a joycon at this point. Kinda sucks because Joycons are expensive, but that's just how it is.

They already said it's the same joycons in a new color. That should be enough.

I kinda miss villains just being villains some times. I also miss people being able to separate characters from their creators or the person portraying them. Most people have to walk on eggshells when creating because they can't say something that might offend a little too much, even if being offensive is the entire point of the character.

It's kind of aggravating. I always wanted to write, but it seems like too much hassle nowadays.

When after KH2 they decided to pad everything out with a ton of canon side stories, then making their fucking mobile gacha game canon with it's absolute tire fire of a story.

Variable. Not a big data user, so it's usually $45 a month. If I use 10GB of data my bill hits like $80.

When I was 20, I literally had no money. You might say: "No money? Don't you eat out? Can't you afford x amount to invest and make instead of just doing y?" and no. I mean literally no money. I had expenses out the ass, a crappy job, was taking care of myself and helping with families medical expenses. When I say no money, I mean my ass was living off ramen and crackers if bills needed to be paid.

Is it a good idea? Yeah. Do I wish I did it? Also yes. Could I? No, not really. So not everyone does have that money to spare. Also crypto didn't even exist when I was 20, so there's that too.

I think a little before this they said they weren't using "generations" or considering VTuber debuts as generations for the EN branch because it didn't really matter over there, so there's a decent chance she'll be able to collab with EN.

Silencers are kind of a non issue honestly. Only the Vegas guy managed to use a silencer in a way that had any effect and it basically only amounted to a few extra seconds of confusion. A matter of fact, making certain silencers mandatory would dramatically reduce lethality as they end up turning semi-autos into the fire rate of a bolt action rifle.

Most people, even some of those experienced with firearms, think silencers work like they do in movies where they make guns whisper-quiet. Don't really know how they can believe that.

People do not generally leave their doors open even in extremely safe areas. Closest you get is leaving a storm door closed with a window open during waking hours or while busy, and even that is rare.

As someone who has had a wellness check called on them, from what I understand the general requirements are a concern for well-being and signs of suspicious circumstance. So yeah, a door being open is actually a reason.

Mine was because I had my cellphone off for like two weeks while I was taking care of my mother who was recovering from surgery. I was technically "missing" for an entire day because I wasn't actually at my house when the cops came. Complete fucking drama fest that was

30 and... I know how to drive, but haven't done it in like 8 years. Don't really need to.

More specifically, I should say, it's not hard to learn and good to know in an emergency. The only time I've had to actually drive in those 8 years was to get a friend to the hospital for what ended up being nothing, so it's definitely a handy skill to pick up just in case.

Even if you think you need a drivers ed teacher there are ones that specifically teach adults, most of 'em work with people -forced- to do it though but I'm sure they wouldn't complain about extra cash.

And this is just my bias, but I always saw her as just riding on Gura's coattails.

She was actually promoting herself as a VTuber before Gura was revealed, why her YouTube channel exploded. Although she initially showed up as a generic shrine maiden but she did change to a shark theme right when Gura showed up as a new model, she even talked about how it hurt her reputation a little since she was just like "Shark VTuber will be something different!". Her trouble began when she accidentally tweeted a clip from Cocos other channel, viewer counts dropped like a rock but not sub count.

But the primary point is it's hard to judge how well a channel is doing by sub count, views matter more.

Sure. I've dealt with scarier shit where I live.

nijisanji has actually had an official channel for translated clips for quite a while now, they've released a pretty big variety of clips, most of them have pretty nice editing and stuff too. basically way more than hololive has ever done in terms of official english translations. no one seems to really care or notice though lol

probably doesn't help that most nijisanji fansubbers are awful. like, even more so than the average hololive fansubber

Honestly, the NijiEN girls are doing pretty well. They usually pull minimum 1k viewers which means more than sub count honestly. And they're growing pretty well. Each one also has a set of decent clippers too.

Look at Artemis of the Blue who has 250k ish subs and regularly barely pulls over 500 viewers at any given time as an example of "ghost subs"

Anything that gets consistent updates is considered a "live service" game nowadays.

Pretty sure Capcom mentioned they considered SFV and MHW both "games as a service", it kinda has no hard meaning any more.

On the up side, since Ubisoft is finally adopting this it usually means that genre is going to be thrown in to a deathknell. They kill literally everything they touch aside from Assassin's Creed, which they just keep rolling out of the hospital every time it's sort of conscious.

Do you mean an MMO? MMOs have been doing that for years before Fortnite was even a concept. Most obvious examples being WoW(Cataclysm, Shadowlands to an extent) and FFXIV(A Realm Reborn)

Ubisoft is developing what sounds like the most ambitious Assassin's Creed title yet, one that is basically a "massive online platform that evolves over time," according to a report that was subsequently confirmed, at least in part, by the publisher.
This game is codenamed Assassin's Creed Infinity, according to Bloomberg's sources, and then confirmed by Ubisoft's own statement. This just sounds like every online game ever made, not sure about the Fortnite leap.

t is pretty curious, given that standard male streamers can do well (and the top ones are at insane levels) so I do wonder why none of them have achieved a level of success like the female side. Sure, "pretty avatar and parasocial relationship" might play a part, but the latter also applies with male streamers. And I think they all deserve the same level of success from what little I've seen of them.

I honestly think the Holostars would do better on Twitch. They're all pretty good at games, and they all seem to have at least some level of skill with English.

It's really sad the state Holostars is in honestly. They're all actually pretty great, but largely ignored. Astel especially is an absolute monster at Apex.
