How come it sucked?

I tried to beat BD1 3 separate times and Chapter 5 fucks up all my enthusiasm.

The story just sucked.

I was literally fast forwarding through end game cutscenes because it was that bad.

I literally have no idea who is going to come out of west and only some vague inclinations of who might come out of the east.

West:

Jazz are top ranked so it's silly to discount them entirely.
Suns are amazing now that they have Chris Paul
Clippers rated most likely to win the championship by 538
Denver would've been in it but Jamal Murray took a tumble
Lakers are obviously a threat.

5 teams that could legit make the finals in the west.

And then in the east 76ers, Bucks, and Nets are all definitely in it, depending on how things shake out.

Closest NBA season in years for sure.

I imagine this line of thought is why a lot of people are still supporting him. They don't support the rape - They believe the man.

The defendant still claims innocence even after conviction. I personally don't believe him, but I'm sure some people do. The primary evidence for conviction seems to be the testimony of the girl and "Upon investigation, forensic testing found traces of Richards semen on the girls bed frame." < I don't know enough about forensics or this individual case to know exactly how damning that is. But I assume it's pretty good evidence.

Even if it is, the reasoning is bullshit.

The reasoning is dumb, yeah. I was reading that the minimum sentence the judge could've given was 3 years though, so I'm not convinced that judge was completely acting in bad faith with a 12 year sentence. Maybe just some insensitively chosen words.

The judge gave him 12 years, though. Isn't that pretty standard for something like this? Max sentencing isn't generally enforced.

Good games, I had fun!

Yeah, I just started playing Sephiroth yesterday and figured out all his moves.

I was on a super good run before I met you. I think I won the first match versus you but then by like round 5 I felt like I was futilely getting slammed by counters to the point I couldn't do anything. Also I cringed pretty hard when I got KO'd at 20% that one game. I felt like I was in a great spot and I had no idea that KO could get me from 20% health. Thought it required 40-45% haha

It is if you're bad at the game. Just remember that battles are mostly won in the menus. The combat depth is all about setting up your characters properly in the menus and bringing the right items. After that it's just pressing the correct buttons.

I meant want to play this game soon. What percentage would you say is gameplay versus story?

for example, I think of persona as 60% (at least) story and only 40% gameplay

70% gameplay. 30% story.

idk, I like how its set up. Youre supposed to struggle with it first and use any method you can to make it and then the fact that the other sheep tell you the proper techniques is supposed to endear them to you and push you towards wanting to save them

I think it was like night 6 or whatever but that level was insanely hard without inazuma and insanely easy with inazuma. I basically used inazuma for the rest of the game after that.

Did you do original or remixed stages? Did you play on Hard? Which is best girl?

Played on original and normal. I got stuck a few times in the game but once I learned how to inazuma(climb a 3 block cliff face straight up) it was pretty smooth sailing from then on. Was tough before I learned how to do that.

They actually make you do a level that requires inazuma before telling you how to do it(as they do with many techniques). I beat it with luck and items at first.

What ending did you get?

I got the Catherine Alternate ending. It's the one specific to Full Body where you go back in time, meet Catherine, and get married.

I'm planning to watch the other endings on Youtube sometime soon.
