The reason I say towards and away is for a few reasons: No clue if jump button ever really worked for wall jumps but obviously footstooling being introduced meant jump could trigger that action; Melee is towards and away, Im quite certain, because if you ride the wall in Melee then it can be hard to do a wall jump unlike say Ultimate where it seems easier and the guide above says you can do it that way; Some characters have wall cling like Diddy and that means holding towards the stage will result in cling so you have to push away to jump immediately --- |
