Sometimes people think their life is too stress free and doesn't have enough shrill screaming, so they decide to have kids to fix that.

Like it or not, as electric vehicle ownership becomes more commonplace something will need to be done to offset the money from gas taxes that goes into maintaining road infrastructure.

TopicDo you understand the Monty Hall problem?
googs19
05/12/21 1:12:41 PM
#15
It makes sense. I think the most confusing part for someone who hasn't looked into the problem before is understanding that someone with more information than you is intentionally opening a door with nothing behind it. If they just picked a door at random and had a chance to reveal the prize with their pick as well, it would still be a 50/50 chance on your second pick and it wouldn't matter if you switched or not.

I believe it's orbiting perpendicular to the equator, at a slight angle. So, it can land anywhere.

Depends on how much I'm able to ignore my kids and other social obligations. If I really needed to I probably could though.

Though last year I did read through the sunlight Stormlight archive books and each took about 2 weeks, and those are between 1000 to 1200 pages each.

A planet is specifically orbiting a star. An object orbiting the moon of a planet would be a subsatellite, also known as a submoon, or moonmoon.

Obviously this is anecdotal, but the 2 people I know who got the J&J vaccine were hit just as hard with side effects as the people I know who got the others.

googs19
05/01/21 8:23:01 AM

Here are some of the least terrible shows my kids got obsessed with when they were toddlers:
  • Paw Patrol
  • Numberblocks
  • Curious George
  • Green Eggs and Ham
  • PJ Masks
  • Various PBS shows like Daniel Tiger and The Wild Kratz

I'm not going to claim they aren't annoying, but some of them are a step above baby shark.

Also, not exactly a toddler show, but my youngest (2.5) probably has watched My Neighbor Totoro over 100 times.

I'll almost always go pick up food, though my work has done virtual team lunches a few times during the pandemic that I've gotten delivered since I'm not paying.
And very rarely when my wife isn't home and I'm ordering food I'll get it delivered rather than packing 3 kids into a car to a car to go pick it up.
