the girls got a light, but well within the expected range of the case sentence.

You could argue they didnt deserve it because of their callousness, but like that kind of callousness is too out of the ordinary for a teenager.

I'm saying it's pretty obvious why people are reacting emotionally to this and it's not because "people want to see children suffer". The kids didn't give 2 flying fucks about the victim. It wasn't a mistake.

The end result, their desire for these kids to remain imprisoned longer, is absolutely wanting to see children suffer.
