I ate soap once when I was a kid. I think it was Irish Spring and it smelled so good, I wondered what it tasted like. To be fair, I was 5 and dumb as bricks, but it didn't taste good. I thought if I kept chewing, the taste would get better. As I slowly learned it didn't, I realized I made a gigantic mistake so I ran to the sink to try and wash my mouth out with water and pretty soon my mouth was filled with soapy bubbles, as well as the sink. I think I just called it a day after about an hour of pretending I was taking a shit and quietly sobbing while washing my mouth out.

When my mother asked where the bar of soap was, I said the dog ate it because I thought the dog wouldn't get in trouble, turns out they took her to the vet. Good thing, though, it had ringworm.

Moral of the story: don't eat soap or let others make you eat soap.
