Sadly some things that have been removed or changed are going to hold it back, but hopefully the new additions and changes alleviate the missing features. So far Arise doesn't look bad overall, but it doesn't look great either. Hopefully it doesn't end up being being average or even just slightly above average quality wise because if it does that is not a good sign for the future of the Tales series. |

Then just sit and stare at him exploring a city or talking to NPCs in the meantime? That's exactly how Tales multiplayer is. Player 1 runs around, navigating and exploring the areas, talks to NPCs, etc. and when a battle starts the other players control other characters to help out. Tales games aren't made for multiplayer, so it's not fleshed out and it's just a extra feature. Still it can be fun with other experienced players. Some older Final Fantasy games had similar multiplayer functionality actually. |

| Number090684 07/08/21 8:17:09 AM #9 | So yeah, just finished watching RE Infinite Darkness. For those who aren't in the know in the RE timeline the most recent Leon / Claire related events before Infinite Darkness are RE4 and then RE Degeneration, and Infinite Darkness is right before RE5. It's okay I guess, but by RE movie standards that means it's goodish(Definitely not without it's flaws though). It's more story focused than action focused, and there are still some silly over the top scenes, but they are less frequent than other RE movies. Leon gets the spotlight with some occasional time dedicated to Claire and the side characters. It looks nice, but the visuals and model animation could have been better. Also there are a few things scene transitions that make no sense and a small few occurences are not explained and left to speculation, and they were not done in that fashion to be explained later either. The story was mostly predictable in how it unfolded and the side characters were heavily under utilized. Anyway almost everything in it was wrapped up plot wise though, so I highly doubt that it will get another season. Compared to the other 3 CG RE movies I guess Infinite Darkness is 2nd or 3rd rank. Better than the shitshow that was Vendetta, debateable if it's better or worse than Damnation, but not as good as Degeneration which is still the best one plot and tone wise and the most consistent one(Despite being the most dated one visually present day since it was the first RE CG movie). So Degeneration > Infinite Darkness = Damnation > Vendetta is how I'd rank them. It feels like they wanted to make Infinite Darkness a full movie like the others, but opted to go for a lower budget mini series instead, and after Vendetta it's hard to blame them. 7.0/10 IMO. |

Basically in the RE Leon timeline RE Infinite Darkness is after RE2, RE Darkside Chronicles Operation Javier(RE4 Prequel), RE4, and RE Degeneration(Leon and Claire's first reunion after RE2), but before RE5(Leon isn't in RE5, but just added it for extra context), RE Damnation, RE6, and RE Vendetta. |

Even after the surgery she doesn't look as bad as some other pitbull attack victims I've seen. Still, this never should have happened though. Also the cops are at fault for letting them still live together after finding out about their relationship and justice system is at fault for letting the psycho still have visitation rights. |

It's more of a character-focused story rather than a grand adventure, and the main character (Ludgar) is a silent protagonist. I think he's a pretty good example of how to create an interesting silent protagonist though, he has bits of personality sprinkled in the dialogue choices, and I actually felt pretty sympathetic for him considering the obstacles he has to overcome, especially in some endings (game has like 3). Totally agree. ToX2 reuses a lot from ToX but it still has it's own identity and there is still a good amount of changes and additions it brings to help it stand on it's own. |
