I think staying in my lane (especially when turning) and parking were the things that most frustrated the one teaching me with my inability to be perfect. But it worked out fine and helped me learn skills I didnt have. I was put on the highway, but a relatively inactive one, so my mistakes (which were mostly allowing myself to dip under the speed limit in the slow lane) werent too scary. Honestly I never went that fast, so I wasnt used to maintaining that speed. The one teaching me picked well, it was a mostly straight road, a few stoplights, and the road wasnt busy. Then I finally got to park, my 90 degrees were fine, but I never watched the video on 45 degree, so they were always off. Amazing how preparation helps. --- |

| PerseusRad 06/16/21 3:10:56 AM #29 | Im not much of a bookworm, but Ive recently read through The Murder of Roger Ackroyd and The Last Woman in His Life. Both mystery novels, a genre I never really read much. Ill admit Im not sure how Im supposed to enjoy them, reading too carefully and writing down clues and stuff just feels like a pain. But at the same time, I might not be getting the most out of them if I simply read until I get the answer. Either way, Im probably gonna start reading book 2 of the Stormlight Archive soon. I finished book 1 a while ago after seeing topics on CE, it was pretty good. Ive just been working on other stuff and demotivated about reading. --- |

Diagrams and a drivers cam are perfect for helping me out. I couldnt understand what I was being told half the time when I was actually driving. So when I went driving today, I felt like I was doing everything with way more confidence and skill than I had been. The other headmasters also sort of felt Hogwarts was blatantly cheating, but that was dropped early on. For Ron and the students, it was more the fact he appeared to get around the age binding circle or whatever, so the fact that he cheated and didn't tell anyone else how to do so. --- |
