It was like listening to Ted Talk, but only stupid.

I also remember one of his pressers where he spelled out the disease for everyone.

Current estimated projections were around 65k newly infected for Sunday.

50k was their low ball prediction.

Here in Michigan, no results were uploaded, and won't be on Monday either.

It does all seem a bit promising though based on how we are trending.

Life should be getting better for awhile, until late September when it probably will greatly worsen again. :/

If it's a 4 minute (240 second) video and you want to know how long it would take to watch at 1.5x speed, you'd have the question "240 seconds is equivalent to some duration at 1.5 times speed":
240 = 1.5x
240/1.5 = x
160 = x
So 2 minutes and 40 seconds.

If you're asking how long the video would have to be in order for it to last 4 minutes when you watch it at 1.5x speed, you'd have the question "what duration is equivalent to 240 seconds at 1.5 times speed":
x = 240 * 1.5
x = 360
So 6 minutes.

When I mention that this is a scam game, I mean it's something a person engages in that seems favorable, but ends up losing anyway.

Let's entertain the following scenario.

I would like to wager with you an even bet of $100.

Take a regulation deck of cards and shuffle them.

Now cut the deck into three piles.

The wager is this, one of the three piles will have a face card on top (Jack, Queen, or King).

Think for a moment.

There are only 12 court cards in a deck out of the 40 others that are not. That's less than 1 in 4 on losing.

If a court card doesn't appear, you easily win the $100.

Would you accept this wager?

If you were to agree, I would take that bet with you each and every time.

Most people, even among professional gamblers, simply have no idea how to calculate the odds on a problem like this.

The truth is that the odds are almost exactly 5 to 4 in my favor.

That's a bigger edge than honest gambling casinos enjoy on most bets.

In Catch 21 however, I don't see a way on ever winning.

Optimal strategy would be to get each hand to a value of 11 first since those conditions are most favorable.

There are four 10s and twelve face cards available to win after that.

Never allow any two given hands needing the same card amount, with a value of 10 being the exception.

You can usually throw away up to two card draws.

I guess you would use those immediately whenever a hand would go above 11.
