Honestly, it bored me more than anything. So many of the maps took the design philosophy of Giant maps with nothing in them. The shooting was fun enough, but the reason I never finished was because it was just uninteresting. The graphical bugs never really bothered me at all.

Going by how he seems to be defining it (performers who were popular and could sing/dance and sell out shows), you'd arrive at Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars and Billie Eilish as examples. If TC doesn't want to accept those examples, then he should examine if he's just got a level of bias here and if the argument holds up to begin with.

They included a lot of extra info that carried no weight like the kid working construction the next day, what was wrong with his truck, Facebook messages between him and his boss, and being family friends with the place down the road. The author and editor are both in need of a media writing class.

We actually watched this in a Texas lit class I took last year. The professor was really into film so he assigned a couple of movies to compliment our reading. I had seen it before so was stoked to talk about but since the class was full of mostly 20 year old kids no one else had seen it. Ended up being a really fun quick discussion about the movie.

Until society changes and is ready to accept that black people are ok in, and maybe even expected, white areas then you have to consider the societal expectation of no black people in the white area, even if that may not be ideal or even right in the realm of black considerations.

Perhaps unfortunately, but most whites aren't going to just flip a switch in their brain and go "I'm okay with seeing black people in a white-only area". Especially if they've ever been traumatized by a black person.

As I said, unless it is made explicitly clear to expect to maybe see black people in an area where, in basically all of modern history, it had been no-blqck people the entire time before, then I'm going to err on the side of caution and say that the societal expectation takes precedence

They dont care lol. David Benioff is the son of a former Goldman Sachs CEO (ever wondered how a guy with no experience or education in television got the job of showrunning GoT? Yeah.) and they made plenty of bank slowly destroying this piece of art.

I know this is an old post, but while nepotism might have been on Benioff's side, he wrote several movies and novels before getting the GoT job. City of Thieves in particular was a fantastic novel, and makes me think that anyone that paints him as a writer with no worth only watches TV and doesn't actually read.

If it was explicitly stated that transwomen, pre or post-op, are accepted at said spa and that both genitals were to be potentially expected to be on display in the female-only area then it'd be one thing. However if that isn't made explicitly clear then why should women be forced to see something in a situation they don't want to see?

You constantly bounce back and forth between "I support trans women and wish we were in a place where this wasn't an issue" and "What if they don't want to see a penis, huh!?"

My high school issued them if you were in a math class that needed them. Lose them or damage them and they charged over $100. It's better than making all the students buy their own, but it was a definite scam considering they looked at every little scratch on them to charge you and still just used them the next year like they didn't just consider it damaged enough to charge a kid full price for it. Plus, these are high school kids were talking about, there was no way they weren't getting a huge chunk of change each year from "damaged" calculators.

Even in cultures where public bathing and bathing together with family is a thing, I don't think it's particularly common for mixed bathing areas outside of parents bringing toddler age children in with them, so not particularly sure why you're trying to paint not wanting to see the opposite genitalia as some kind of non-issue.

Because they're basing it in sexual attraction, ie someone with a penis is there to prey on us with vaginas because they're attracted to us, when that conveniently ignores the fact that there are people with vaginas attracted to people with vaginas in these spaces and there is no issue there.
