I've seen two other fun suggestions for the Olympics; one was to have a separate ranking consisting of athletes of completely average skill levels (for comparison to show how difficult events are), and one with fully doped up athletes taking any and all performance enhancers available, just to see what the human body is fully capable of. I approve of both.

I gotta disagree with you here, Mead. The average parent would, at best, just blow you off. Some would give a half assed attempt to control their kids, and many would get offended that you would dare question their parenting, no matter how respectful you are about it.

I bought One Step from Eden about a month ago; just started playing it over the weekend and I love it (figured I would since I like Slay the Spire and other roguelikes/roguelites). Just finished a run for the first time; the end of a Pacifist run is really cool; when just as Terrable is about to kill you, all the people you spared in battle return to help you defeat her.

I've been having a really tough time finding an old manga that I liked. It's an obscure series called Toto: The Wonderful Adventure; a shounen/action series loosely based on The Wizard of Oz, with a strong fantasy vibes. It came out in English around 2008 or so but seemed to quickly disappear from stores. I've never been able to find scans of it except once, and that was in some random language neither English nor Japanese. I could buy it online, but the last couple volumes go for nearly a hundred dollars anywhere I look. It really sucks because I didn't even get to finish reading it.

The Incredible Machine went SO HARD in school. I've been chasing that high for a while. I tried "Contraption;" it was okay but had absolutely no soul or personality. I've heard of Contraption Maker but I don't think I've tried it yet.

I did a no dash/special weapons run when I started playing X Legacy Collection. It was a change of pace not relying on steamrolling them and actually learning their full patterns. The first game is different from the rest since every level and boss before the final ones have to consider the possibility that the player can't dash yet.

Been reading Senryuu Shoujo. It's light m, but hilarious and cute. WAFF series where nothing serious or bad happens (the author even explicitly said they want only good things to happen in the manga), and Nanako is super adorable. (But second most adorable "Nanako.")

Eh, this is one I do kind of question. The character's name literally describes how fair-skinned she is. Race isn't particularly important to anything the character does, so nothing's particularly lost by making her non-white, but this is one case where skin colour is a significant element of the character's appearance and casting somebody that isn't white is even more clearly pandering than Disney's usual diverse casting choices are.
