Then of course you have mods for things like controller support. I had to fiddle around with a few things to get it working in GTA: San Andreas.

I can't see any point in not modding if it fixes glitches that harm the experience, restores cut content and/or touches up the graphics. Not wanting major gameplay or story changes I can understand (and I avoid those on a first playthrough myself).

wesp's mod for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines is a good example. Supposedly the game has some major issues without it. I didn't even try the vanilla game. Ditto for KOTOR 2, in which I used the mod that restores cut content.

I think I did a top 50 once. Like g0ldie, I usually stop at 10, sometimes 20-25. It definitely gets difficult after that (although it's easy enough to throw any old favourites in there, of which I have many, but not to create a definitive list).

Not a bad list though (I think you've posted it before). I count 7 that would definitely make my top 50 (1, 3, 4, 9, 12, 20, 23), and maybe 5 or so others that could (11, 17, 28, 32, 38).

Most of my top 10-20 aren't in your list (including Deus Ex, Diablo II, Super Metroid, Metroid Prime, Morrowind, New Vegas, San Andreas, Metroid Prime 2, Metroid Zero Mission, Tales of Symphonia, Skies of Arcadia Legends, Mega Man Battle Network 3, Castlevania Aria of Sorrow, Suikoden II, etc.). Beyond that, there'd be more Mega Man and Zelda, plus Pokemon and Final Fantasy.

Celtic have been absolutely atrocious this season. It's been comical.

They won 4 successive trebles (which I think was a world first) and 9 successive league titles, and went nearly 70 games unbeaten at one point, then blew it all this season.

Favorite place, well we live in the South of Scotland in a tiny mining town so I don't get to go too far exploring everything big is like 2 hours + away, but I like whever we make little trips, mostly go to Ayr, and then sometimes Glasgow and Edinburgh, have had fun at Strathclyde amusement park except that one ride that breaks your neck at the end. There's also a place near where we are that has a little creek and hills and that was always from to play on or go for a picnic there. Since my dad is from there he doesn't like to do too many touristy things/we did those when I was way younger.

Cool, I went to Strathclyde Park / M&Ds a couple of times when I was younger. It's a small world.

On a global scale, definitely, but even specifically for the UK, where I live. 9/11 and the 2008 crash are the only contenders (7/7 was more directly relevant to us, but I have to admit 9/11 was bigger), but I'd still go with the pandemic. It's possibly killed more than 9/11 (including indirect deaths), or it will have done when it's over, and probably worse economically than 2008.

If you go by e.g. column inches, online articles and social media discussions, then 9/11 is probably bigger in that sense (limiting it to the same timescale for fairness), at least in the US and UK. Globally, probably not.

On a 10 point scale, maybe 10-15.

On a 100 point scale, 2-3 at most. Possibly even 0 (as I'd give them 9.5-9.9 usually).

I have no clue about contract law or what the contracts say. Could the clubs be breaking the contracts by doing this (e.g. if they specify any competitions)? I imagine they have accounted for this in the contracts, so I doubt it.

Also, did I hear right that this isn't meant to be happening until 2024 (edit: apparently not)? Many will be out of contract by then, and some much sooner than that, if they refuse to renew before then.

I think it's a terrible idea, done purely for money, and I hope it flops. I think it will actually, given the opposition from many groups (governments, UEFA/FIFA, football associations, fans, possibly players and managers, and Sky), who can all apply serious pressure, and the few potential issues I can see.

What are the prospects of players jumping ship so they can still play for their country? That's assuming UEFA/FIFA go down this route, which they may decide is too nuclear an option.

As a Scot, it'd be a shame if Tierney, Robertson and McTominay missed out on Scotland's first tournament finals since 1998. It'd obviously be a bigger loss for those players than Messi/Ronaldo. Do they prioritize club or country?

It's the opposite of that if anything. Expect to die *a lot*. There are escape sequences that are quite difficult, for example.

The game allows you to save almost anywhere though, so dying doesn't cost you much progress at least. One time that isn't the case is during the escape sequences.

A few years after release, an exploit that made it a guaranteed drop was found. I remember a French guy spent thousands of hours grinding loads of Zodiac Spears (and many other items like Danjuro), then that happened lol.
