to be fair the pilot was ugly as hell. Either way, simple doesn't mean it's the same style (the Star Trek one posted a bit ago is still distinctly different from the "Calarts style" for example)

Depends on what you count as toys I guess. Besides, the whole "commercial for selling toys disguised as kids cartoon" is a completely different marketing beast than Anime. You generally already know that a given series will end before the first episode is animated.

Anime was never mentioned tho (plus that'd ignore the existence of merch-driven anime like Pokemon, Yugioh, or Beyblade).

Toei REALLY padded out the episodes. Though for the manga tbh it mostly deserves its length......FMI-Dressrosa should've been half as long as it was tho

The extra swords aren't real, but for dome reason, unlike the waves of WB or Roger energy, it's visible for Zoro. Or maybe he just manifests it different. *shrug*

Akechi is also on vanilla, it's just that his character got expanded in Royal (in vanilla his confidant is automatic like with Morgana's, so you don't get to know him as well)

The GX dub is a masterpiece that transcends mortal concepts like series rankings

Overall nowadays I tend to watch dubs unless they're terrible, far from caught up, or the jp version is just too good. Fate has an amazing dub for example (even if they've only done until the first HF movie)

Do I think it's a man made virus? No.

This, the chinese government pretty much prioritized their image rather than limiting the spread of the virus or at least warning other countries.
This doesn't mean other countries are absolved tho, the US' trash-tier handling also had a big impact in the situation worsening

Nah the pacing in 3 is fine for the most part. The tutorial is only an hour which I appreciate. The only time the pacing gets bad is the last 2 months where literally fucking nothing happens until the Nyx fight

It just feels like nothing really happens until either when Fuuka joins or until around the time you go to the love hotel

I aodred P3 for the first 40 or so hours.
Then, Tarturus just kept going and going and I eventually got fatigued.
I still overall like it, but nowhere near as much as my first impression.
I actually feel similar about P5. It's a 10/10 right out of the gate, then starts to slide slightly downhill, then it drops like a rock during the burger palace and never recovers.
P4 is the only one where I never got tired of it. I don't think that it overstayed it's welcome like the others did.

I played about 40 minutes of P1 and I thought it sucked dick. The songs were kick ass tho.

tbh for me it dips down a LOT during Okumura (burger guy), but then it skyrockets back up for Sae (easily the game's peak, as far as vanilla 5 goes)

as for TC, yeah I like 3 a lot, but the QoL and overall gameplay is far less refined, making it quite a bit less enjoyable to play. Plus the pacing is easily the worst

If you only care about action, then yes it was better than Endgame.

I mean it had a much more interesting narrative (by MCU standards). Still though, Endgame benefited from being able to focus on giving closure to the OG 6

I only really got into Gurren Lagann after watching episode 8, because something kind of unexpected happens in that episode and it actually gets better after that unexpected thing. That's really all I can say without spoiling anything. It's a very "anime" show all the way through though, which is why I still probably wouldn't recommend it to someone who doesn't like anime.
