A considerable improvement over the first game's rather generic story. The addition of Chloe to the main cast was huge, and the villains are a considerable upgrade. That said, there certainly is not enough Sully, and Uncharted games are about gameplay first with a story to supplement. For a gameplay-first game, though? The story is pretty damn good, and there's some good dialogue too

oh yeah! I forgot about those prehistoric floors. When I get to the Skull Cavern, which should be soon (I'm at floor 95 of the mine right now - on Fall 1, Y1), I'll do that. Thanks for the reminder. I'm about at that point where I blow the game wide open by getting three Stardrops, iridium sprinklers, and other augmentative stuff. That said, IDK what 1.5 added yet so we'll see.

Accomplishing something like that without hax0rz is pretty great, yeah. People who brag about their accomplishments and then reveal they cheated to get there are sad, not cool. It's simply reflective of our society. Liars and cheaters get ahead while nice guys finish last.

I only have the game on PC (remember when we played co-op that one time and it kept crashing?) and I only use a few QOL mods (the character tracker, for instance) because I want an authentic experience.

2-4 is flawless, but 2-3 is downright terrible. The lack of a cohesive narrative between cases - the way the other Ace Attorney games have - also makes the game's score suffer, since 2-4 still functions fine if you don't have the foreshadowing seeded in the prior cases. The characters are still great and carry the game, but T&T as a whole is quite a bit better, even if 2-4 is probably the single most riveting case in the series.

I never beated this game and the reason why was that I was so bored and underwhelmed by the story. There's no hook. The characters are unmemorable. The world-building was great but that's about it. I put it down and never played parts 2 or 3.

I'd be realistic. "Look, you have potential, but you're not going to succeed without putting in the work."

I think it's honestly just a way that lazy kids think they can make lots of money with no real effort. They post things they think are funny without effort and think everyone will love them, forgetting how much competition there is. And that the "successful" social media "stars" typically don't have lives outside of the Interweb on which they're active. It's not a happy existence, though happiness is just a myth anyway.

It's something that young people all eventually realize: Fame doesn't just happen. You gotta work for your goals, and you should only give up when nothing is working.

I've had nothing but good experiences with landlords. I hear nothing but awful things about the ones in big cities. I suppose that's why I like living in a mid-size city that's literally known for having the "best of both worlds."

Talk to your landlord about getting a working doorbell. Explain to him the problems you're having and, based on how you describe him, he'll look into it. The chute probably isn't a workable idea if you can't envision it - it depends on how much space you have around the door. Old houses like yours that I've been in have varying degrees of space (there's a crap ton of them around here). It'd simply be slide it down and it'd go through a screen (like a doggie door) and be shielded from porch pirates. Wouldn't work for oversized things, of course.

I live in a hotel-style apartment building. UPS and USPS always bring packages right to my door. FedEx is hit or miss. Amazon is lazy AF and just dumps it all in the entryway.

For your situation, I'd like to ask a few questions first:
1. Have you met your new neighbor downstairs? Do you know what their schedule is like?
2. Where is your landlord's office? Anywhere near your place? (It's quite unlikely, but worth asking)
3. What kind of person is your landlord? Someone willing to work with you... or a hardass?
4. Based on the setup you have, is there any way (if your landlord is flexible enough), to create a "drop-off chute" of some sort through your door? That way, packages can just be slid inside and end up at the bottom of your stairs.
5. Does your job make it so you can't sign for packages?

IDK, I'm just trying to come up with something. Right now, I'd just track packages and put a note on the door about where the hiding place is, but it's only so long before porch pirates learn to check there, too. Good luck finding a solution.

To clarify: Apple is on here because of employee exploitation (remember the Foxconn suicides?), patenting technology they didn't invent, using marketing to brainwash, a lack of charity, and price-gouging - charging $1100 for a phone that doesn't even cost $200 to make is pretty bad, and that set the industry standard. Also that book of "Apple porn" that they charged a few hundred bucks for. They're all about overcharging for their own wallets, and then using lawyers and marketers to make them look like the good guys.
