These topics always remind me of an amusing short story that I read on the internet long ago. It was a conversational story about somebody becoming a time traveler and immediately deciding to go back in time to kill Hitler, and then the rest of the time travelers talking about how fucking annoying it is that every new time traveler immediately tries to go and do something that will result in time travel never being created and the rest of them have to keep stopping it and saving Hitler over and over again.

Cats can moderate their temperature with their fur is what I understand. I'm not saying they never feel hot but I think they can be more comfortable than people assume in slightly over heated environments

Grooming is one of the ways that cats regulate body heat but dogs do not regulate heat as well as cats. They should not be lumped together as better at regulating heat than humans. For cats is arguable, for dogs it's just wrong.

It's possible to do that in a proper educational way, but the end of the description sends up some red flags. I'd expect some "South will rise again" to be going on until proven otherwise.

Again, you are acting as if any discussion of the specific issue of mentally ill homeless people accosting people on the street is a broad strokes comment about the mentally ill as a whole. It is not and your acting like it is only serves to shut down discussion.

I disagree and believe that you are dismissing a legitimate issue and needed discussion by acting like acknowledging that mental illness only means so much when it comes to the rights of people butting up against each other is fundamentally unacceptable.

Just because a tiny fraction then go onto commit violence, doesn't mean all of them are the problem.

What he said is "we have the right to walk the streets and not fear for our safety because a mentally ill person is going to lash out at us." What part of that statement is wrong? I'm not really interested in you going far beyond what he actually said and responding about things he didn't say.

Saying mentally ill people are the problem and to be feared, rather than helping and preventing the issues from happening to begin with. Essentially sounds like he wants to push for punishment and continue no efforts to help.

I only use cow milk maybe a few times a year, at most, when cooking some things that require milk. If I'm getting a milk product to drink, have cereal, etc. I almost always get almond milk and some things like mac and cheese just don't quite taste right to me with it.

That sucks, I enjoyed it. I'm a sucker for a musical so I enjoy the rare "real life as a musical" style show like Zoe and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

BTW when used in this fashion it is not a pejorative term. The community has been working to reclaim the word Queer for a few decades now.

I actually think that growing up and experiencing how queer was used as a slur 30ish years ago is why I lean more towards using LGBT than LGBTQ myself. In a way it was literally beaten into me, I don't know if anybody else played football back then and had "smear the queer" as a regular part of practice but it's something that has stuck with me.

L, G, B, and T seem like the only ones that everybody consistently agrees on. Amnesty International uses LGBTI, no Q or A or +. ACLU and HRC use LGBTQ, but no I, A or +. GLAAD and PFLAG both have LGBTQ and LGBTQ+ at different places on their front pages. IGLYO uses LGBTQI.
