I think the upgrades for the MPR (there is a 16" version too) is worth it considering the 2-stage trigger, barrel, and handguard are very nice. My friend has a plain jane Ruger AR-556 and while it is not a bad rifle by ANY means, the upgrades you get with the MPR are going to be worth the extra $100-200 --- p226 |
