The environment was apparently pretty harsh and toxic for some employees but when they talked to software developers they were scared to death of the attrition rate (which was already bad) going any higher and the managers were more afraid of developers leaving than of them doing substandard work. When they talked to us they either sounded happy and kind or desperate for us not to run off to another company. |

Accents overall are being reduced everywhere. There are plenty of people in big cities in the deep south or Texas even that were born and raised there that speak with hardly any accent. |

My family owns 10 acres of undeveloped pasture-land, and the county appraisals year-over-year increases have been utter insanity. Granted, it does lie just outside a highly desirable DFW suburb, but still. Property taxes are insane in Texas. I had a buddy that moved from Aurora CO to Mckinney TX and he said that the houses are cheaper but the property tax is like three times as high. |

Twisted Rounds can be super strong, especially with LMGs and ammo replenishment but its also the most boring ability in the game. I got a legendary weapon around level 21 or so (Grim Morrow) that leaves a ridiculously powerful bomb behind when dudes die that had me going for twisted rounds combined with ammo replenishment (though I did it group a mod that gives me ammo back on bleeding damage and slapping bleeding on the guns second mod slot). |

It let's you swap out your favorite power boosts for a trivial amount of iron / leather so when you get a higher level item you can put the power you want on it if it's boosting something you never use. You just have to have scrapped something with the power you want at least once in the past and you can swap in that power forever with an existing power on an item. |

I played a lot of ffxi early in its life cycle (2003-2004) but I cancelled my subscription and gave away all my stuff after playing the wow open beta. Not sure if it got any better but the combat was clunky and slow, the whole process of leveling was horrid (hide in a corner and pull the weakest type of monster you level to fight it with a five man group) and the the times for most classes would get up to hours to get a party and it wasn't realistic to solo. I liked that being rich made me feel super powerful as I leveled alts because I had way better gear than most people but everything else about the game felt objectively worse and in some cases dramatically so than wow. |
