Americans don't really handle situations well with rules that only apply to some, unless it's an abuse of power.

People that need to wear masks are the same folks that really don't want to wear one. So any chance they can get away with it, they definitely will. It needs to be everyone wearing them. Otherwise it's the sake result as just trying to keep at risk folks in lock down. It just doesn't work.

This is my anecdotal experience as well. I'm able to hit better numbers if I eat something beforehand. It's not a huge difference in my case. Things like sleep and overall diet seem to effect me dramatically more.

Covid has shown that wfh is viable and that employers could have implemented it years ago. It only took worldwide pandemic for them to do it.

There's the old school mentality that people won't do anything from home. One of the departments I'm in charge of opted to entirely work from home.

My boss cried about us not being able to monitor them constantly. I told him to fuck off because their productivity has increased substantially. It's saving us like six figures a year and this old crab wants to complain that he can't see people working.

If that's your only way to know if someone is working then you shouldn't manage anyone ever. I don't give a shit if they take naps on the clock and jerk off on their keyboards if productivity increases.

Yeah, our realtor had us write one of those too. It actually helped us out because by then we had already found out that we met the sellers and made a little inside joke about it. So lots of luck on our part there.

I just signed the paperwork for a house this morning. But yeah, that's how it's been.

Also the fun aspect of people will bid random amounts higher than the asking price. So it's a terrible game of guessing what others are willing to pay.

My wife and I were only chosen to buy the house because the family that owns it lives next door and we had talked to them a minute when we went to look. We didn't know that at the time.

We actually did not bid the highest but they liked us. They wanted a nice couple instead of an old crab or a property company to own it. Im cynical so I chalk it up to we had mentioned a few upgrades to the house which would up the property value which would also up the neighbors property value.

I remember once my work wife came in with a dramatically different hairstyle once. I think she dyed it ir something among other things. I happened to walk past the break room and she was in there. I got fatigued from the content even before any dlc came out. I finished one faction and then went on to go through another and just gave up halfway through. Stopped reading any quest dialog and just followed icons at some point.

I completely quit when they changed some skills so they refunded your points and you had to spend them again. I just decided it was too much effort to recreate my build and stopped.

With all of the dlc I can't imagine how much stuff there is to do at this point. While that's great, I just couldn't bring myself to care all too much.

The most likely issue is they are looking at the ASCII values of the characters, as such the list:

Apple
Blueberry
aardvark

Is considered "alphabetical" because B < a on the ASCII table.

Nope it's proper case and everything, but it seems to only check like the first 2-3 letters. It's a very narrowly used software used for printing. It's also full of a million other bugs but because it has little to no competition, users kind of just deal with it.

There's a couple of programs we use at work that do this. Like it's very minor but it prioritizes shorter over longer at some point. So like "Bus" would be listed before ""Bubble".
