Live life on your own pace. Its easy to get down when you see what other people have. There will always be someone out there with more than you though. If youre happy then none of that matters. You cant take money when you die.

Use that to motivate you but dont let it get you down.

I have responsibilities. I dont want to have to waste a bunch of time researching a game to make sure its good. I want the developers I grew up with and trust to just do a better job.

Its kinda like how there are a ton of vegan and vegetarian protein options. More options than ever for consumers. That doesnt mean someone should feel silly for craving a steak or that a drop in beef quality isnt bad.

I think youre missing the point. Nobody is saying there arent any good games out there. The studios we know and love arent putting out good, original content anymore though. That was the foundation for a lot of people like myself.

Imagine playing the original Assassins Creed for the first time. Maybe Skyrim or GTAV. Call of Duty during the MW2 or World at War days. Those were truly amazing experiences for me when I first discovered them. Now here we are years later being fed the same shit. Just sucks.

Theres a good balance. I dont like games where the grinding can essentially just be purchased with money. I do like games that allow progression though. That progression is all that keeps me going at this point. Whether its to improve to beat AI or beat actual people.

Most single player games these days just dont captivate me. I bought Days Gone, Sekiro and TLOU2 and probably have six hours total played combined.

Most expensive pair of shoes I own is a pair of Nikes that are self lacing. They run about $400 after tax.

I love shoes so I dont see it as outrageous. I wouldnt pay that much for those though. Look pretty basic. I only spend a lot when its a unique or classic shoe.

There is so much shit in the world that exists only so old people can feel like they have authority. This last year taught us that. A large chunk of the work force realized they really never needed to go into a physical office for work at all.

I worked in restaurants for 10 years. Your observation about FOH vs BOH diversity is 100% right.It is by choice though in my experience.

I tried to get people working BOH to come to FOH and they always said no. Servers do make more money. However, there is a significant percent of people who will take the pay cut not to deal with customers. I dont know why minorities tend to gravitate more towards BOH.

I get your experience might be different but restaurants will take servers regardless of race. There are plenty of times race comes into play in the service industry. I genuinely believe the hiring process is not one of them.

Then after people had nothing but problems with the update patch to the game and could never get it online even after psn was fixed.

Did like all the free games Sony gave though.
Would have never bought Infamous but loved it after.

I forgot MK9 dropped around that time. I will say this actually helped me. If online had been available I would have immediately jumped in. With it being down I spent time in training and got better.
