Yeah his jab has a 5x SDI multiplier so you shouldn't be hit with all 10 hits. For comparison electric attacks have a 2x multiplier.

Kazuya plays weird, I've heard Tekken players he is a faithful adaption to how he is in Tekken. Definitely a character you can't really tell how good he is on the get go.

yeah I actually see Tekken players online telling people his tech for smash. pretty crazy honestly haha. just means his adaptation to smash was super faithful with is cool.

First Kazuya impressions: fun, basically better little Mac, high damage, terrible recovery, terrible jump and terrible mobility. The damage output and combos are insane, but the gameplan is the same as Mac which is to never engage and attempt to gimp/zone off stage. Definitely fun though

If you're wearing proper cold gear outside it's a non issue, for the heat though you cant do anything except eat it.

The wind chill here goes to -30F and below so it doesn't matter how many layers of clothes you have on, it will pierce them.

It's going to be 90F and 80% RH tomorrow so this heat wave isn't over yet (and I love it).

Well I kinda want to become somewhat decent with the characters you might see in tournament to gain a better understanding of them, at least the ones that are fun to play as. Wolf is fun because he has sick stuff you can go for with flash combos but you don't need to do that stuff to win. When I go back to tournaments he might be a character I try out against weaker opponents, there are actually a few I would like to try. I love Puff but unfortunately I would probably just use her as a counterpick against strong opponents that my Falcon can't handle. The lack of match up experience people generally have with Puff can help a lot. All it takes is a couple rests sometimes and a lot of times I think people just don't know how to avoid the set ups.

Yeah that makes sense. I've done that for a few characters just to get an idea of what they struggle with and how to counterplay (namely Falco, Mario, Diddy Kong). Wolf and most top tiers are just super fun to play too lol. Wolf rewards solid fundamentals and playing the basics. He has really bad and evident weaknesses, but his strengths are almost unmatched.

Kazuya, like all of the DLC, looks extremely well animated, designed, great music, fun stage, fun to play as, etc. but really not fun to play against. Like all of the FGC characters, the gameplan is to quite literally never approach them which creates for a boring match. Kazyu seems to have more range and is slightly more mobile meaning he might be the best of the bunch, but the gameplan is still the same which is a bit disappointing. Def looks fun to play as though.

Finished up CV2 again.
It's got a weird "collapsing difficulty" thing going on, especially if you keep up with whip upgrades. Levelling up reduces damage taken, and every other level gives more life. Doesn't seem like the various baddies scale up damage given, so your playstyle can get looser and less deliberate as you go on.
