except it does jump off of the previous movie, given how it's a sequel of the movie. it's actually not like james bond in that way, despite them being very similar types of movies. every james bond movie is a self contained story, eschewing the events from prior ones.

in fact, there was a very specific reason

harry was brought back, yes, the director and writer actually wanted to bring him back in a sequel before the first movie even came out

he also absolutely does not drive the plot at all

also, the fight scenes are mostly eggsy, with Elton John coming in second oddly enough, followed by harry

and yes, it's alright. this is a movie series with all kinds of weird shit that could not exist in real life drawing the line at headshot goo is very odd, considering in the first movie we have magic umbrellas, head exploding phones, wristwatches that can hack literally anything very easily, sword legs, ect.

i might know nothing of cinema, but at least i understand the context of a movies universe, which you seem to not be able to.

Wow, the fact that you didn't get the set up of Lancelot and setting up Eggsy to be able to handle himself in order to have him be capable of carrying a sequel either with Lancelot being an equal or a smaller sidekick character just went over your head.
